The tassel is in the right side when the graduation ceremony is on going. You will move the tassel to the left when they announce that you already graduated. That's what we do in the Philippines.

I’m graduating from high school this year and we don’t even know if we’ll do our final exam to see if we actually will pass or not the date keeps getting pushed back again and again there will be no prom nor graduation party:( Seeing this vidéo makes me smile and feel a little bit better despite the stress of not knowing if I will be able to finally close the chapter high school once for all so thank you❤️❤️❤️

I become a sixth grader today. I know that it is not as hard for me as a senior in highschool or colledge, but it's still a challenge for everyone graduating during quarintine, so this made my day when she said all graduates.

Love the video! And Yeah! The little dangly thingy is supposed to be on your left during the ceremony and when they declare you “the graduates of 2020” you move it to the right! 🙏🏻 I know we had to do a whole rehearsal so everyone got it right in the same time 🙈
Prior to the ceremony the tassel is expected to be worn on the right. During the ceremony it should be moved to the left side after students receive their diploma

I was really disappointed when I found out that I wasn't going to have a graduation ceremony this year. My grandma was going to fly out to see it but since Covid, everything was cancelled. It's so nice seeing everyone celebrating people who graduate(d) this year. Thank you so much, Yo and the HTCI team.

Awe thanks, I graduated this year with a MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. I felt sad that I couldn’t celebrate, but I really feel bad for high school graduates because it’s much more than a ceremony. I really hope there is something that can be done for high school graduates across the nation.

This put a smile on my face. I struggled a lot making the switch to online classes and having to finish senior year online but I made it through and managed to graduate with honors!! My school decided to put together a little graduation for us today actually despite everything else being taken away from us. I can’t wait to go get my diploma today even if it’s not a normal graduation ceremony. At least we get something

A thought: The HighSchool graduates of this year went into grade 7 a few days before I was born. 😳
It does matter which side the tassel is at my school cause once we get our diploma we would put the tassel on the other side to represent that we are moving forward to a next grade

I was finally able to pursue my masters after years of saving for it - now I am in another country without any fights scheduled to my home country and certainly will have no graduation.. and will graduate to a mercurial job market. Yolanda, your sunshine personality makes me happy!
