Watching from India and I always have been concerned about safety when you spend your nights deep in the woods but I was a bit relaxed for 1st time when I saw a dog and a pistol with you 😁👍.

Awesome you can get so isolated. I live in Northern Cal. It is scary going to the forests because of the tons of illegal grows. I have to head to the Sierras to feel safe back-roading it. Get yourself a Chopping Blade, like a Ka-Bar Jarosz Choppa or an Esee Junglas, or similar. I prefer a heavy blade over a short axe. Too much chopping close to the digits with a mini axe. Use that thing for a meat cleaver. LOL. Thanks for the hope and joy you spread through your sharing.
Hello Chad. Great to see another wilderness video. I had a Dingo dog exactly like Nola back in the 80's I named Spook because of his grey eyes. Also there is a Lost Lake located in the Yacolt Burn which is smaller and very secluded with great fishing for Eastern Brook Trout. Anyway, I definitely have my notifications on and will see you in the next video. Keep on trucking on and stay safe.
