Excellent video which I will use to remove the grill on my 2015 F-150 Lariat after a wild turkey flew across the road in front of me. After removal, I just hope none or very little of the hardware surrounding or the grill mounts to wasn't damaged badly.
I had a shutter that was stuck, and clicking. I took it apart and tried to fix it, no luck. The easiest way to deal with it is to remove that shutter blade and be done with it. If it continues to happen, you’ll have to buy a new shutter housing with isn’t difficult to install. Just a few extra screw behind the grille and it’ll detach the shutter housing.
Great to hear it helped. I did switch to an aftermarket grill a few months ago, and you have to uninstall and reinstall the louvers behind the grill. I’ll make another video shortly
The paint work on that grill is amazing. Though me personally, body man and all. I would have done a little bit of color blending. Just so the old matches the new.

When towing heavier loads up steep mountainous highway inclines, you may not have enough forward speed airflow through the front-mounted cooler (assuming you have one) to adequately remove the heat generated by the torque converter which will be under greater heat-producing slip. This is compounded further at higher altitudes where the air is thinner. A Derale 13740 Hyper Dual-Cool with double electric pusher fans is simply added transmission insurance. You will still need a constant reading transmission temperature gauge.

Oh man. I just just didn’t this with a new grille and didn’t make a video. It wasn’t too hard just a little tricky and will depend on your new grill. The new grill will have to mount to the shutter system using the old hardware (unless yours came with new, mine didn’t). You’ll have to work the bottom bolts into the unit and feed them up, then put the nuts on. I dropped them a few times and had to restart. It’s a pain but stay at it. Other then that, there are two in the middle or the top (trying to remember) that should just screw to the new grille. If you give me more specifics I should be able to remember enough to help.
So what was the purpose of pulling the screws from the wheel well?
