i loved tanya. her elegance and her walk is so natural and effortless. one of the rare girls that just flow down the runway and can embody all kinds of moods with her walk and posture. too bad her agency really treated her like s*it and f*ked her career over.
I found the models who came into the industry around the mid to late 00s ( 2006-2009 ) always lack a fame and can’t become a household name. Maybe it’s because the designer and all the brands want them to be just a cloathes hanging and can’t express themself like the 90s and early 00s can. So this era was pretty bland compared to the older generation.
I kinda get what you mean...looking at young pictures of the three ladies you mentioned I'll say this: Joni Mitchell's facial features and overall facial feature sizing definitely resembles Tanya's. Even Joni's smile resembled Tanya's a bit. The only thing is I feel that Joni has a more angular/ mildly gaunt vibe to her face... That's where Sissy Spacek comes in. Sissy's face has the overall soft vibe present in Tanya's face, which Joni lacks. Tanya also has very light features when in comes to skin, hair, and eye color...which is more like Sissy rather than Joni despite all of them having pretty fair physical characteristics. I don't know how you see Penelope Tree though...certain shots or depending on the makeup, Tanya can look every doll-like. Penelope does have the doll-like quality to her face that Joni and Sissy don't. Other than that, I don't think Penelope looks anything like Tanya.
