It’s exactly because they didn’t go off to voluntarily die that we respect them, they didn’t want to but they did it anyways. I agree with not glorifying the sacrifice of a soldier, as they have a family who wishes nothing more but to have them back home. Only respect and in memory should we treat these young men.
