My first issue/problem is that because my originals are so distinctively...well...original I am perplexed as to what I might use as a reference for most all my music for this plugin. I like the premise so I will experiment around and at least see how it works. Just FYI...the full meter spectrum including LUFS is in the TR5 Suite.
Once you get one that sounds perfect to your ears, you use it as your reference, not a commercial release. One thing that is helpful in using commercial releases is if your high end hearing is declining due to age or misuse, this will help get the high end in the right place. ALSO, you can drag and drop reference tracks onto the plus sign. quicker than browsing...
You mentioned that the LUF meter should be a future addition to the plugin Master Match. If used in the stand alone version of T-RackS 5 mastering suite, then you're offered all the metering tools along with the other plugins for mastering. It's a hassle, because you have to export your project, then add it to the stand alone.
I didn't get it first of all but you have to click the little X icon at the bottom right of the plugin image, and when it asks for your source track you have to play your track you sgpuld have loaded in on the left hand panel to compare against the reference track it has learnt....
If you are using it strictly for it's EQ, then I would put it first in the mastering chain. If you want to use the loudness maximizer in it then I would put it second to last. You need a true peak limiter after it.
I’ll be your first comment. Lol. I tried using master match yesterday on my master fader. I could load reference tracks, but master match wouldn’t learn my source track even though it was playing. Maybe your tutorial will help me. I’ll let you know by the end of the video
@@SufferahsmusicHD figured it out. Hit the square shape on the bottom right, underneath the master match, and it will put master match in the chain. It’s weird because you think with it sitting there it’s already in the chain.
Ok. I think something is definitely wrong with my software. I get to the learn source part, play my song, and it endlessly says that it’s waiting for audio, where yours says “learning” while you hit play. You have this on your master fader right? I’m using “Tracks5 suite” on my master fader in pro tools and I can’t get the learn source button to listen to my song.
@@AudioSorcerer that’s strange. Sounds like you’re doing the same thing as me if it’s on the master bus. Maybe I need to reinstall tracks or something.
@@Focused2341 you have to do it a certain way. I’ve dealt with this issue too. It’s annoying, you have to figgle with it a bit. It’s annoying but it does work.
Here’s the trick If you're using Master Match in the standalone app it needs to be inserted into the processing chain before any audio passes thru it. It looks like it's already in the chain by default, but actually it'a not. Click the small rectangle icon on the right, just below the Master Match thumbnail, and the device will insert itself into the processing chain. After that you should hear through it without any problem. I can send you a video if you need help.
@@JayCasinoOfficial yeah. Took me a while to figure that out too. They should just throw it into the pool with the rest of the plug-ins and I think people will have less of a confusing time. Another thing they could do is not allow you to mess with any of the buttons on the plug-in until it’s enabled. The way they have it now isn’t obvious.

That is true. I always find myself mastering within the DAW though.
Great Plugin well presented, Thanks 🎧🎸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks man! I'm glad you liked the video.
@@AudioSorcererHi bro. Is T- racks works as a limiter? Or I should use it more like Eq, and after him in chain use limiter?
Not a X like a little square to the bottom right of the icon...this will add it to the chain and allow the process to work...
Really great tutorial! Terrible shirt. But I learned a lot!!! Thank you!! 🤙
I'm glad you liked the video! Thanks for checking it out 👍
@@AudioSorcerer The shirt comment was my attempt at humor 😅 nothing wrong with that shirt man haha 🤙
again, great stuff dood!

Nice tutorial, but there is just one question I need to ask...
What hair products do you use?
That's top secret 🤫
@@AudioSorcerer I've never heard of that product before, is it new? 😄
Great video, but does the plugin master or just eq a song?
Ok you answered my question at the end, thx
so where did you put this plug-in at?--before/after etc--which bus?

@@AudioSorcerer thank you ..very cool.
I don't get where the source track comes from or how it was loaded.
You would provide a source track of your choosing.

Same thing happened to me

Yeah but can i use it kets say in presonus studio one?
@@SufferahsmusicHD not sure on that one. I can confirm pro tools and Logic Pro x. Never tried studio one. It might say on the ikmultimedia website.
@@SufferahsmusicHD they give you the kits as vst so if studio one loads vst plugins then I’d say you’re golden.

you could use Lufs in stand alonethank you
was hoping for stand alone
-5 dB is low? That's news to me...
Sorry, that wasn't phrased right. Low for a finished mastered.
Bro this plugin is frustrating lmao...half the time you dont know if its working ...they could have done a better job with this plugin
Typical 1k multimedia bait and switch. You think you're getting something for free and it's all 14 day trials. Same BS as all their products.
I wasn't aware they offered any free products.
Duh... are you serious? 🙄
Not to be rude but I don’t think it’s good I can hear the room your in.
It's fine 👍
