After watching so many reviews and reading the history of the most sold fountain pen in the world, I decided to go with a slimmer and aesthetically slightly more appealing 61 😃 Capillary filling system was an additional attraction !
What I like about your reviews is that you do it in a very casual way, not pretending to be the ultimate fountain pen expert with super professionally produced videos as others do. You remind me of (my absolute hero) Matt Armstrong of The Pen Habit channel, damn shame he retired from his reviews, he's dearly missed. Also that you look and talk quite similar to my psychologist 😅 But back to the pen, I've yet to get a 51 but I'm already a big fan of the 45 so I'm pretty sure I'll go nuts when I finally get a 51. They're not so common down here in Mexico but I'm pretty sure one will appear at the exact time just like other great pens that I've been fortunate to get in recent months 😌
Thank you! I really enjoy making the videos, and I enjoy learning more about the pens. I too am a huge fan of Matt Armstrong. He was such a great reviewer, and I wish he was still making videos. The 45 is a great pen, and in some ways I might like it a little more than the 51. Both are classics! Greetings from Canada!
Great review and comparison. I also enjoyed the history. Thanks!

I've heard of the 61 but not had the chance to try one. I'll have to hunt for one. Interesting filling system.
