Me who is in a South African University who has no intentions of studying abroad watching this just to show support to my girl Faith 🧍🏾♀️❤️. I’m glad I checked the video though cause I love your look and it gave me inspo 😭
1. And what sponsorships do you recommend for international students? 2. Do you need extra-curriculars? say you don't have any extra-curriculars are you cooked?
This is alot hey😭Im currently in community college becuz of the credit stuff. My community college was trying to reach my high school for more info and it took a long time for them to reply becuz of the time zone ,she had to call at night! But I will definitely save this video ❤
@miss_mi I had to start there becuz I left SA when I was still in grade 10,I finished grade 10 here in the US. But then I realized if I stayed in highschool I would graduate in 2026 rather than 2025(if I was still in SA this is the year I would graduate),so I just applied for the high school program in a community college. This is a lot hey,I wish I could send a vn😔😭. But ke,I will graduate next year now, another thing the education system we have in SA is the same one as the UK,so it's a little different than US(the US system is much easier don't worry),there are some certain subjects that you have to take here in the US like American history, (less than 3 tho)that are different subjects that we normally take in SA. And also in the US you graduate when you have a certain number of credits(you will get these credits from passing the subjects). In SA there is no such thing as credits so it's necessary to go to a community college and acquire these credits.
Hi I'm in grade 11,so I wanted to know some couple of things: Did they want your 11th grade report? Which school would you recommend? Is finding a job a bit easier for international?
I think applying to a community college is a great idea, especially if you're looking to eventually transfer to a 4-year school. Community colleges are usually easier to get into, and you can complete your Associate's degree first, then transfer for your last two years to finish your Bachelor's. It’s a more affordable route too! Also I would suggest doing a lot of research of your own. As for your questions: 11th Grade Report: Some colleges may ask for your 11th-grade report, but it depends on the specific school. In many cases, they’ll want to see your grades from Grade 12, so be sure to keep your grades up! Which School Would I Recommend?: If you’re thinking about states with a good Black community, Georgia is definitely a great option! Atlanta has a vibrant culture and a large African-American population, so you might feel at home there. Other states to consider include Maryland, Huston, North Carolina, and Florida. They all have diverse communities and good schools. Job Opportunities for International Students: Finding a job as an international student can be a bit tricky at first because there are rules about work permits. But many schools have on-campus job opportunities, and once you're in the U.S., you can get help from the school's career center to find something suitable. It’s definitely possible, but you’ll need to keep your visa status in mind.
how much more difficult is it keep up w the curriculum compared to the south afrian curriculum? And how much higher is the standard compared to the one in Sa?
How much is actually needed to proceed? For instance the cost of living, how expensive or inexpensive things are or the process itself for those who won't be funded? What can we expect?
Please kindly make vlogs, college diaries, hauls, sitdown/chitchat vids, storytime and everything should be 40+ mins. I'm asking nicely, thanks in advance Feigh.❤😢
After Matric I really want to go to the UK . Question, when I leave home and study there and come back home will my Diploma or Honars I'm not sure what they called but will they affect me from getting a job from SA?
Hey Feigh What actually made you want to study abroad and when you finally took the decision, were you scared or anything? Have you adapted well to the new environment?
Thank you so much however I wanted to ask what time of the year do you start the academic year since it's different from South Africa. Like do you have to wait or
