I don’t know what kinda drama is going on about the tutorials. I will say this, I probably wouldn’t have got into DCS without your tutorials CAP. Thanks for the ones you did do and I hope you change your mind. They were much appreciated. 👍
Here is a mission should you choose to accept it - We all know that the Apache and the A10 Warthog are well armoured and can take humongous amounts of damage and still bring their crew home regardless of the damage inflicted on their aircraft. So which out of the two could take the most heaviest damage and still make it home?
I think the A-10 could take more. They both take a lot, just I believe that the A-10 could take more. Don't get me wrong the Apache will take a lot, but the A 10 could take more.
The Apache does NOT take that amount of damage to render it useless. Just get within the machine gun of a BTR-80 and you're going down. You will hear Bitchin' Betty screaming "ROTOR RPM LOW" "HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LOW" and the list of failures will just continue to grow. You have about 10 seconds to get the thing on the deck before you die. Any missile of any size will blow you out of the sky. Even a MANPADS will kill you. The A10 is much, much tougher and can stand much more punishment. So while your thought experiment would be "interesting", it would not be very long.
“That’s usually where you’ll hit your team mate” I got the module yesterday and was trying it out, I unlocked the tail wheel and chopped up a poor soldier on the ground 💀
Love your videos, they are to the point, easy to follow and an excellent source of a wealth of Information, please may I request that you make a video on using jtac lasing for the Apache but from the pilot seat, apparently this is possible. ED told me to Use LOAL when using any JTAC and after the missile has fired tell George to cease fire, it allows the JTAC's laser to be used. But I have struggled to get this to work. I'm sure I'm missing something simple. And I'm sure that loads of people who do not like swapping seats would also love to know how to do this.
Thanks Cap, is it possible to put these apache videos in a playlist (or am I being dumb and not finding them?) thanks again! EDIT - doh yeah I'm blind. Thanks!
Whenever I fly the apache, my chopper suddenly jerks nose down and I start to crash. I'll be flying, going well and suddenly I hear the blades slow way down and my nose dives, i lose control and crash. I thought maybe my stick wasn't calibrated, or maybe a bad driver... So I tried the KA50, Hind and F18. No issues with any of those modules. My hind and ka50 worked beautifully as always. I sent back to the apache: sudden power drop (throttle maybe?) Qnd sudden nose dive.... uncontrollable crash. I don't understand what I could be doing wrong. This happens even as George is flying. The engines die for a split second before speeding back up. But George is much better at regaining control. He pretty much instantly regains control.
CAP I need some serious help. I purchased a Thrustmaster T16000m with single throttle, however I can't seem to get ANYTHING to work and I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I'm 62 and a complete idiot. In my younger years I flew quarter scale planes and heli's which I built myself, however with DCS I seem to be clueless...PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
Is it showing up as a plugged in usb device in the windows settings. If you have that make sure your setting axis commands for the throttle and joystick movements everything else is a button so its not an axis command
Hello ! I am a big fan of your videos and I love Apache heli , so I want to to ask about your preference about joystick for flying this DCS product : what you recommand -- Warthdog Thrustmaster Joystick or Gladiator NXT Evo ?
So idk if this has been asked or if it's possible in DCS but could Ukraine use stealth helicopters to strategically take out artillery or spaa positions?

Same. Watching the Grim Reapers videos is what got me to buy into DCS and play it.
@@HeloHounds Copy that! Without these guys I probably would have given up with DCS.
@@terencehorsnell9264Same here, these videos have been helping me
Pay him and he'll play with you.
The Bible of DCS / AH-64D - Thank you for your work on this!
Your videos are excellent, if I were a rich man I would deffinately send you a check for all your hard work that you and your fellow aviators provide.
Great stuff Grim 🫡🫶✌️

@@coletonmoore1674Would agree .. but hey I would still love to see the Grim Reapers take up the challenge @Grim Reapers

in terms of the properties of aerodynamics I would say that the apache would be less, because helicopters are generally more complex and fragile.

My favourite Heli module with in DCS.
Great video Cap. I’ve been loving the Apache
very good tutorial thank you bro :)
Hi CAP, will you be adding the AH-64 HOTAS config for the Logitec X-56 to your google drive section anytime soon?
Grim Reapers rhymes with Life time saver. Thanks so much for all your tutorial videos
No it doesn’t

Just what I need, much obliged!
I dont see the X56 keys on your google drive for the Apache

Do you need track ir for this
Can distance units be changed to miles?
This is essential viewing material. Even if you don't play video games.
Thanks Cap

Remember that winwing technology is your ultimate hardware solution :) 131
yes

Are you going to make controls for the x-56 rhino?
Since he doesn't fly with that any longer it's doubtful
But I'm sure if you googles x56 apache dcs you'll find someone probably has.
Neg, I gave my X56 away.
Also helps if you take the parking brake off lmao
OK I GIVE, WHERE IS THE ACTIVE PAUSE ON THE APACHE. DON'T KNOW HOW TO FINE IT
What do you use to look around ?
I normaly love your Videos, however, especially the control section seems to be a little lacking in this video
I turn off my computer after beeing 1h just to try to turn off the wheel steering. And I went outside to get some fresh air 😂
So idk if this has been asked or if it's possible in DCS but could Ukraine use stealth helicopters to strategically take out artillery or spaa positions?
Any helicopter could
after mapping this bisnitch i think we deserve to be lazy and try the auto startup ...
Always wanted to know how to fly the Apcahe :-p
Why do you hate AAV7 so much? Poor things are always your practice target 😂
cap why dont you slow down you think we all 26!!
you can slow down the video
