I watched this webinar one year ago. Ever since I have been practising this strangle selling stratrgy in weekly and in daily time frame also with tremendous success.I am revisiting this face2face to thank Vivekji and Nandaji. Sir, How many days u trade this stratagy and what is return percentage. I started backtest data for 2year manually and also apply this on expairy result is good. and safe.🙏
@@liveearth8406 I didnot do any backtest as Nandaji has already done that and showed the results. I traded in live mkt starting with 1 lot and gradually increased to 5 lots. % return is 9 % per month in weekly and 7 % in dailyu, but my database is not standard as I experimented a lot with the SL as Nanda sir hasnot specified the sl.

I am using this strategy on monthly expiry. Returns are more attractive in monthly. Capital of 55k you have shown is only for taking position. Later In reality the required capital is 70-80k considering the volatility based margin demand from broker.
Also in monthly expiry base shifting of both sides is required which I think not required in weekly as you have shown.

I just want to know that whatever Sir has researched about nifty movement that it moves by more than 5% only in 6% cases. So, does it move up or down? If both, can I get the data of how many times up and how many times down percentage wise? (Only the data of 5% or more deviation). It will be very useful.

Thanks Yogesh! Very informative session. One question - during adjustment, when we roll the sold PE strike up, wouldn't the margin requirement increase? This is because the PE strike width is now more than CE strike width.
It does but very marginally. Max 5 k to 13k depending on how many strikes you move up. Also, margin now is linked to the volatility measured in Standard deviations of the move. So nifty is bound to be less volatile hence less margin.
