@RipCruncher1 - Awesome time. Well done. My 4:52 was in a road race, I hit halfway at 2:14 and had a horrendous second half. Probably could have run 4:40 if I had paced it properly but could haves are pretty useless when it comes down to it. Been away from running for a long time but gonna come back and train properly this time round. I'll keep you posted.
at 6:09 when he hears his time and then jumps up in the air thats one of the coolest reactions I've ever seen lol thanks for the uploads ive wanted to watch this for a while.
What is the soundtrack, I want to download that tune for when I go training - inspirational stuff. Ran a 4:52 mile recently w/ a cold and on 25 mile weeks training due to being ill/injured a lot recently. Think I might have some good potential over the distance.
Yeah I heard that today. Part of me is excited, other part thinks they'll get it wrong. The screen writer they've got wrote Twins and Johnny English!! :0(
What happened to british white middle distance runners, there were three guys ovette coe and cram all at once, so the potential genetics is there why did they suddenly stopped achieving, why why why,,,,,,???The runners of today dont even go that fast very often.I know football takes alot of athletes but football was huge even in those days, something doesnt add up.
Loved the guy. He was an inspiration and a very nice bloke when he did not have a camera in his face. Very helpful to other young athletes.
What a class act. He was my hero when I was a young middle distance runner at the time.

i hate his politics, his social class and his personal arrogance
but as a runner his style is poetry in motion]incredible
I'm asking because it doesn't display rankings for the mile distance...
