In this video we will look at the exact process that took place in the UPSC personality test in Dholpur House. We will discuss, when you have to show up, how long you have to wait, when do you get to know your board and other things hidden from the world outside UPSC.
UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

The interview board is
not expected to test your knowledge about your subject. This has been
done in the written examination. They are expected to assess how you analyze issues, your viewpoint, your ability to communicate and convince.
The board also assesses your attitude, behaviour, bearing and other personality traits.

Eyesight can be corrected within few days.. simple consult a doctor and start wearing eyeglasses 👓 .

Bhaiya, will PT 365 suffice for current affairs? I started my prep in January and was unable to do monthly current affair magazines. Given the paucity of time will I do justice to my preparation with this shortcut?

There are two kinds of services technical and non-technical, IAS is non-technical and IPS comes under technical services. Technical services mostly have higher medical standards.

Sir mai graduation last year mein hu aur iss year mai UPSC CSE prelims ka attempt dena waala hu.....lakin iska koi bhi chances hai....mains takk mera result aayega ( graduation ka)......to kya mere prelims krne ke badd....mains me mujhe appear hone ka mauka milega......

Yes Graduation certificate needed. While filling form. Last year same case happened with one girl she cleared prelims but due to covid her graduation certificate didn't come. UPSC didn't allowed her to give mains. She filled case in SC but SC gave result in favour of UPSC, Saying that 'Rule is rule irrespective of circumstances 🤷 '
What Happens if a candidate has Flat Foot 🦶? Is he Disqualified? SIR Can u please help...
I remember reading in notification flat foot candidate cannot be considered for IPS
For Rest of the services even a percentage of their disability was allowed so except IPS candidate might be qualified for other services..
Will not be eligible for technical services (as of today). But then there is a new SC judgement coming up in this regard, so things might change.
