Career in Indian Foreign Service, Reena Pandey, IFS (1984) Batch l Chanakya IAS Academy

Mrs. Reena Pandey, with a celebrated career spanning over three decades, at the Indian Foreign Services, has served the Ministry of External Affairs, Delhi, in multiple roles including several overseas Missions in Brussels, Manila, Kathmandu, and London, among others. In her tenure, she has also served as the Head of Mission in Armenia and Georgia and the Head of post/consulate general in Istanbul. She spent four years on deputation at the Prime Minister’s residential office between 1996 to 1999 and served under three Prime Ministers during her tenure including Mr. H. D. Deve Gowda, Mr. I. K. Gujral and Mr. A. B. Vajpayee. She retired in 2009 as an ambassador and dedicated her efforts as a consultant at Eurasia with the Ministry of External Affairs and FICCI. She currently serves as an independent Director on the Board of Directors of SKANRAY, Mysore.
