her name is Arlette Pinheiro Monteiro Torres, she chose this name after starting as a stunning actress so its not Montenegro family it's Torres family

I'm Still Here is a masterpiece, a significant film with very important symbolism, historical reference and memory of resistance against the authoritarian regime of the past, so that this never happens again. Fernanda Torres is a spectacular actress. This film and Fernanda's excellent performance deserve the Oscar for best film and best actress.

The 13 nominations given to Emilia Pérez, that has been highly criticized, has given me the impression that money has been very important for those nominations. I didn't like the few moments I saw of this supposedly Mexican film, the songs are bad for a film that it is a musical. As a Brazilian, I hope Fernanda Torres wins, for she is not only a movie actress, she's a theater actress, and that's the difference. Crying, yelling or gesturing can call the attention in a movie, but acting in silence to show despair, sorrow, happiness, etc. using only the look, the smile, or a head movement is difficult. And that Fernanda can do.

I always watch ever best pic nominee beginning to end, usually well before nominations just by chance because I watch that many movies. The ones I didn't catch before awards, I'll watch that one or 2 just because. I have never.....never never never sat to watch a movie, turn it off just over halfway through and decide to never, as long as I live, finish it, because it was just that bad. All of emilia perez is WTF! It's horrible. Crash's win is not near as obnoxious, nor upsetting, as this films nominations. That movie deserved to WIN more than this one even deserved to be nominated....in ANY category. And if this film blocks Ariana Grande from winning her deserved Oscar, that'll be a bummer. I always imagined Ariana winning this year and Cynthia winning next year. I hope that still happens.

No doubt, the Academy has the tendency to follow similar imperialistic mentality and does not recognize the best performances. These rewards are just a game of politics and influence to promote the white, blond, sexy actresses - not the greatest films and the most talented performers.

All of this is quite true. Except for the fact that Roberto Benigni won best actor that very year for La Vita e Bella. Also Marion Cottiard won best Actress in 2008 for La Vie en Rose. One year before Penelope Cruz won her Oscar. Plus another recent example would be Yuh Jun Youn winning supporting actress for Minari.
