I've been working on not being so resentful about things that I find as affronts to me. I'm doing better ... but still have a ways to go.
Something that really stood out to me, in this message, was Pastor Rick pointing out that our "so-called" defects aren't necessarily bad things. They just need to be redirected and channeled to do good and be more loving, especially to ourselves. That's how God wants us to be.
Today I opened up His book "The Purpose driven" currently reading Chapter 4. May God Bless his family and also his ministry.
Whenever we encounter God at any point in our lives, inevitably everything in us resets or changes significantly. The truth will truly set us all free. I am broken, I am a sinner. BUT I am embracing the truth that I am forgiven, loved, and redeemed through Christ. Thank you Pastor Rick for this series.
I forgot to tell you. I was invited to " My City Church on Corona" on Easter Sunday.. which I love the teaching is great n it's only 15 mts... away from me. Thank God!! .. because I can't drive to fard thank you Lord Jesus 🙏💙

Great message but I think you misquoted a verse Ps Rick - 1 John:8 NLT my Bible does not reflect the scripture that is on the screen. Please let me know if I’m wrong, because I’ve checked a few translations. Ty 🙏
I'm not sure about this so this is only a suggestion or thought however I think maybe sometimes with verses Pastor Rick will not always quote the verse exactly on the screen but instead he sometimes kind of interprets the verse for those who are new and have a hard time getting the point or message out of the original verse and he kind of makes it more layman oriented or makes it where the way its written is easier for those to understand who don't have the best grammar or vocabulary background. Also it could be that the person who made the slides just typed the wrong verse number on the screen as well.
