Tina, these ideas for using the decoupage pages in the new SSS October kit are wonderful! I just love them! Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us! So happy you are part of the SSS family!
Every card you make is worth the time to watch you create. You are so talented I absolutely love everything you make there isn’t even one single card that you have made that I haven’t loved it. I ordered the November kit because of this video. Thank you so much for your time and talent.
Wow 😮 these cards are amazing!! I LOVE 💕 them both!! I love all your videos and always watch! Your designs are always beautiful. Thank you for your videos and inspiration!
Great ideas for Gift cards; I think you could put a gift card in one too. The removable magnet shaker piece is really sweet. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Festive and fun creativity, Tina.
Cute cards, Tina! I think if I were to do the magnet one, I'd add a focal panel over the magnet strip on the card, that would be hidden by the shaker magnet. It would be better to use a thinner paper or cardstock, so that it wouldn't interfere with the magnet's hold, & then just adhere it over the magnet strip on the card front. That way, when the recipient removed the shaker magnet to stick on their fridge, there would still be something pretty on the card. You might have to use a slightly stronger magnet - maybe the disc style ones - to keep the shaker from falling off the card then, but I think it would be doable. Just a thought. :) Anyway, thank you for sharing. Take care, & have a fantastic day! :)
Oh my gosh, I love these cards and the amazing techniques. So totally awesome! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent. Sending hugs and blessings from Canada. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the coming New Year! 🤩❤⛄🎄🎊 PS I'm going to save this because I love how easy you make this look so I may have to try these techniques. Thanks again.
Cute ideas. I’m a little confused though. She keeps mentioning decoupage but I never see any decoupage actually being used. The things she’s calling decoupage seem to be regular cardstock cut outs that are being layered on with foam tape. Am I missing a step or something? How or when is decoupage applied?
You don’t „USE“ decoupage! The technique of adding parts of images to an image so that the image ends up being 4 or 5 layers high is called DECOUPAGE . It is a technique. Not some material being used.
Yes, we used to think decoupage required adding paper with Mod Podge or similar, but if you look up the definition, it really is about layering paper pieces and adding dimension with foam tape.
@@SimonSaysStamp well the definition I found indicates it is done with glued layers, which is how I’ve always understood the process since I’ve been doing it since the 1970s. I can’t add my screen cap of it here but it only mentions layers built up by gluing and that’s how I’ve always understood the process.
Thanks so much for watching our video! We hope it inspires you to create today! tinyurl.com/mr3rd9v9

@@SimonSaysStamp Just what I was saying. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
