But the coushien part of it, isn't it wood? would that get damaged? what was the last thing you put in the mixture? laundry detergent, baking soda and ???
Yeah that mattress part is particle board. Soaking it like that and even trying your best to dry it, you’re gonna get mold. Can’t soak that part. Hand wash only.
Oh my gosh I know! For mine I eventually think the color was starting to come out making it look dirty so I stopped! But it's was so effective, just time consuming as you said! And also kind of addicting, I loved watching all the dirt draining as I rinsed it!
guilty of that too..it's interesting to see how much filth accumulated over time. lol I've heard you do that to bras, strollers..and just watch the water change LMAO
+A Sua I just saw this for some reason! I work in a warehouse and when we leave I love washing my hands and watching all the dirt go down the sink and I think I'd love soaking those things and watching the dirt come out!!
My wife and I did this but the mat start to fold up after it dried, so once we put it back in the pac n play for my child to sleep in, the mat or board or whatever the thing is called has folded sides. How do we fix it? if you know or anyone else ?
How was your pack and play after all that soaking? Did the hard part in mattress very warped or soft afterwards? Did the colour actual stay coming out or was it ruined in any other way? I've been considering doing one of mine because it has spilt milk on the mattress so I kind of need to Urgh just worried it's going to wreck it somehow.
The color stayed coming out of it a little but you couldn't tell once it was dry. The hard part actually felt exactly the same once it dried but I tried not to leave it wet for to long. After the hours of soaking i dried it in the bathroom with the fan on but then eventually took it outside to make sure it was all the way dry. Outside in the shade of course!

yea i did mine 3 times in almost 12 hrs but its still dirty. i think ill just keep soaking it until the water clears but its so time consuming!!

mine got warped. Looks bent on the sides. Not sure how bbut just trying to see if anyone knows how to fix it
