I feel this is one of the most underrated songs that they did. I also agree with you, because I don't know why this didn't get played on the radio, as it seems like it would have been a bigger hit than it was.
This video was shot and edited by FifGen Films, the same small video production company that did “Daft Punk Medley”, “Can’t Hold Us”, “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”, “Radioactive”, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, “I Need Your Love”, and Avi’s “Aberdeen”, just to mention a few. And “Love Again was written by Avi and Kevin, with input from Mitch.
Wondered same thing when I heard this. I like edm dance music and this sounds exactly the same without any instruments no less. Amazing they can do this so well.
This was the PTX follow-up to the Daft Punk medley, which probably helps explain both the EDM-type sound and the costumes and makeup - I usually joke that this is the new band in the Star Wars cantina! Kevin's "throat singing" beatboxing in this song is a one-off - he says it hurts his throat to do it, so it's the only song they ever did where he used that technique. No one seems to be able to explain why this song didn't get radio and/or club coverage - I think it's just that when the decision makers heard that it was from an a cappella group, they tossed it out immediately without ever even listening to it. Mitch has always had a fondness for EDM-style music - I think a number of his Messer songs have that kind of feel to them. There's a live version of this song that was recorded for an interview for 24/7 on TH-cam, where they are all just standing together and using the boom mic for the interview to record themselves - Kevin has a hand-mic because of the beatboxing. It's a nice version to see if you want to check out who's doing what during the song, as you can pick out someone to check out, unlike the official video where the camera cuts make it hard to follow someone. th-cam.com/video/GyRiez6UKAI/w-d-xo.html
One of my favorites! They did this live for an interview they were doing! I can't remember where I saw it, but it was amazing! Obviously, the studio version is perfectly mixed, but they still sounded wonderful!
I’ve been hoping you’d do this one for a while! So good! Have to say, red really suits you! Thanks for doing this one, definitely one of my favourites.
There are so many PTX songs that should be on the radio. It’s ridiculous that they aren’t played. Thanks for another fun PTX Monday
If a DJ put this on in a nightclub not one person would guess it was a-cappella

Totally agree. Its 100% PTX sound. I wish they did more of these!

Lovely reaction, thank you🌞 They are all so very talented, but that bass, though, he’s special and I look forward to your next reaction to his music.

Thank you ❤️
I think this is 8 to 10 years old -
