Starting at the 1:00 mark on is some of your best work with sound, film editing, and composition. Definitely started getting that otherworldly feeling. Great job, and music trac.
Thanks so much! I think it was the last video I ever posted to this channel that didn't have any bikes in it used this song. I was thinking about a good winter song and remembered it.
Love the skitter on snow feeling you get with that fresh stuff comes right thru video. When people ask me about the difference with winter conditions, I tell them it is more mindful.
Hoping for some winter weather sometime this year where I'm at...been a mostly brown winter so far. Hard to beat riding in fresh snow. Really liked the Wintertime song too :)
I love that song - I used it years ago when only a few people watched these videos - had to bring it back. If it is going to be cold give me the snow for sure!
nice Sunday Snow ride to celebrate the Holidays, I enjoy the Lock 15 Brewery....plus, the Mustill Store is a great stop before my turnaround to head back to Lock 39 in Independence. In agreement regarding winter riding. Speed takes a back side to enjoyment. Just trying to keep the legs fresh around my workouts in the gym. I don't run nearly as much as I used to because of aging hips. However, the riding in these elements is actually very healthy for you. Enjoy-hello Edmund
Good Christmas video. The Lobster gloves with a liner sound like the way to go. It has to be big enough. I've learned that putting a glove within a glove can sometimes be colder than the larger single glove alone. I guess you have to have the dead air space.
22 degrees here . Actually a gorgeous night, (no drones!) Just got back from a long, windy and very cold but snowless errand , Now I'm carbo-loading some serious homemade Putanesca vendor made Ravioli on 16" parmesan baquette, with CAPERS (!!!) anchovies, and even sardines, and three cheeses. Black olives . Enough carbos for 3 days . Wa-ho. Please post Tim's Music Playlist of dreamy and serene female hipster bands , and also those guys at the end thrashing. I have been actually picking up my guitar, a good sign that the world will survive. Good music and positive flow is starting up right now . Onward. Peace out, Prayers for those in combat. God Bless.
Nothing like being out doing something most people aren't and sharing it with friends.v Haunting music with the snow ride. I loved it. I still use my Trek lobster gloves that are 35+ years old. Odd things but they work. And I'm m going to watch this video again right now.
I’ll have to look into the Sealskinz lobster gloves. I have a pair of Sealskinz gloves that work well for me down to the upper 20s, but need something for colder temps.
They are Soma's but the name is escaping me at the moment. They will definitely feature in a vid soon. (I'd get up and look but my cat is on my lap😂) I would recommend the Velo Orange Granola Bars - those are some of my fave upright bars. These are very similar.
I don't believe anyone was. Lots of very wide tires though. The bravest guy was on that cross bike though!!! (I do think I was the only one who rode to the ride though - everyone else parked at the shop)
They are Soma's but not those. I would tell you but I can't remember and Edmund is on my lap so I can't get up!🥸 But they will be in one of the next couple vids.
Winter riding isn't about speed but more about staying upright. I'd rather have pogies on my handlebars than wear gloves since I have sweaty palms and putting on/off gloves is a pain.
For sure - its about being out and having fun but being relatively safe. With the new gloves and new pogies It'll be interesting when we get some teens to really compare them.
Great video, thanks. Came here via shout out from Rus at Path Less Pedaled. Have subscribed and looking forward to more content; from Scotland.
I'm in Edinburgh. Been hangin' here for a while...it's totally worth it!
Hey you Jimmy.
Thanks! Happy Holidays!
Love your content! Keeps me motivated to ride through the Pittsburgh winter and nights. 😊
Awesome - cheers!

Great soundtrack
Thanks!
thanks for all the videos!!! Going through the winter withdrawal season and this helps.
Cheers!
Happy Christmas and Godspeed Tim
Merry Christmas!
That parking lot roof ride in the snow was the money shot! That and the abandoned highway
When we were up on that roof we realized we had to go down to the old innerbelt!
Hey Tim, I just got back from a ride... and let's just say I definitely need studded tires! 🤣
Oh nice - I hope they were keeping you upright!
Thanks so much - Happy Holidays!

100%
Hell yeah!
I like tuning in and 'riding' with you, Tim. Wholesome times brother!
Thanks- Cheers!
Merry Christmas y'all.

Almost like putting in a cold weather ride just by watching recent videos. But without the discomfort. Keep it up!
Cheers - thanks!

If there isn't room you are better without the liner - sam goes with socks and winter shoes.
Cheers!
Have a safe Xmas fella.
Merry Christmas!
The Bics!! Great name!!

They're my favourite pizza toppings- bar the sardines. Nice.

Wow - impressive they have held up so well!!
Cheers!
Happy Holidays. Video looks great.
Thanks - cheers!
Looks like a cool ride (pun intended). There is a 4900 for sale in my area I was thinking of checking out after Christmas.
Thanks!
Mine has held up for 24 years!
Hey Tim, happy holidays

I am so impressed with them. They did not seem like they would be this good as small as they are(a in not bulky).
NEW UPLOAD
What are the bars you're carrying? Im ooking for a much more upright style bars
Thanks.
They are Soma's but the name is escaping me at the moment. They will definitely feature in a vid soon. (I'd get up and look but my cat is on my lap😂)
I would recommend the Velo Orange Granola Bars - those are some of my fave upright bars. These are very similar.
Do you know if the other five or six riders were using studded tires too?
I don't believe anyone was. Lots of very wide tires though. The bravest guy was on that cross bike though!!!
(I do think I was the only one who rode to the ride though - everyone else parked at the shop)
Curious about those new bars you have strapped on. They look similar to the Soma Oxfords I have on one bike.
They are Soma's but not those. I would tell you but I can't remember and Edmund is on my lap so I can't get up!🥸
But they will be in one of the next couple vids.
I would have been on my ass sliding down the street!
