You know, I've had dreams about trains on the road when I came into a coma after crashing into a train. The only train that was around were freights. Nice video!
Nice compilation. Always nice to see older crossings in service still. I would love to see a compilation of the CSX W&A subdivision in the future, even though it is LED now. There’s are still plenty of older crossings from the L&N and CSX.
Thanks! Will probably do one if I can get enough crossings along it filmed/refilmed. Wouldn't mind going back there for the old CSX/SBD/L&N signals though, even if it's all LED now.
If you love mechanical bells, the NS Pulaski District that runs from Bristol, VA to Radford, VA has them! but not a lot of them are mechanical, but there are several railroad crossings that have them, 80% of the crossings on the district are electronic, and not much left has mechanical bells. Atkins, VA has a handful of crossings that are mostly mechanical bells! but if you want to get some action on that line, better shoot em while you can if you get a chance to get up there anytime!

I actually saw some CSX maintenance workers replace the incandescent lights in my hometown.

How many railroad crossings are in the state of Georgia?
A lot.
How many trains does this line see?
I cannot recall off the top of my head, but it's quite a few. Think at least two dozen trains a day, almost certainly more?
36:13 caught in the 34k crossing
