I never knew that Morocco has so many different styles. I usually only hear the more traditional Arab/Berber sounding one.
Music from Tetouan has its roots in Andalusi music. Tetouanis are descendants of Andalusi refugees that fled to Morocco and rebuilt the "back-than empty and ruin city". Look up Andalusi music, that's the music of Tetouan.
