Good morning Miss Lisette, Your getting closer to having good water well, keep on plugging away we all really dig you. Happy trails Miss Lisette Have a beautiful, and blessed week ahead Miss Lisette beautiful lady of the north land.
Well it looks like as usual it'll take some time. Don't get discouraged Lisette, I could hear it in your voice. Everything worth having takes a little time. I believe the next time around things will start too shape up. God will bless you with the things you need and he knows you need this, that's why all of this is coming together for you. Keep your chin up hun it'll be fine. Just remember, God is on your side. Peace 🙏
Boy Lisette I have never seen a well being drilled with something that small hope these guy's can get it done for you. Around here in Indiana most of the time don't hit water tell your down 45ft but they got a Minimum of 100ft & they use a big truck again hopefully these guy's can get it will be praying 🙏 for you. Can't wait to see what happens dear just have patience & faith 🙏. GB my ❤️😘🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I have to agree, have you spoken to any neighbors to see what they did? This looks like the lightest duty equipment I’ve ever seen. He could have used the bucket to dig through the rocks and then put the WellPoint in without the obstacles.
@@PPD55 Yes, I spoke to my uncle a couple days ago… he lives down the road and he told me that they had to drill 200 feet for water. So, I may have to go that route. Won’t be for a while as the cost for well drilling is in 10’s of thousands… still working on plan #2 😊😎
Oh Lisette this was just one try, you definitely will get your well, you will see! They do the best they can so stay confident mon amie everything will turn out wonder"well". I'm so happy for you it will be a huge difference having water around the corner. Thank you my sweet friend for sharing round no.1. 🫶🍀💝
Interesting but I was surprised they didn't have a bigger rig with a six inch sleave and drill until they hit water. Hopefully part two is a success. Have a good week and count your blessings amen.
That auger would have been great for fence post holes, just not the right tool for a well. I do hope you have better luck with your well project.. I hauled water for a long time and I can tell you from experience it gets harder as you get older. Wish you the best of luck with all you do. ❤
I've put in 3 sandpoint wells and I've been fortunate to get good water all 3x's between 16 and 20 ft. The old fashioned hand pump types can draw water from about 26ft depth, I added a ball valve just below the pump to hold prime so the property owners didn't have to bring a 5gal bucket of water to prime the pump every time they needed water, the exception is in the winter months when you have to let the water drain back down to water line otherwise the pipe would freeze and break in the winter season. Good luck with your well, looking forward to seeing part 2 and success.
There is no doubt water is teasing you down below, so your best thing is to keep trying and eventually you may be tapping below all the rock and clay or as Leon says have a new fence line.. I''m looking forward to part two of your great "Saga of the Sand Point".
Good morning Lisette, it looks like your home has turned into a Holy place, lol. Maybe you have to go back to hauling and collecting rain water. This may sound crazy but, I enjoy hauling water myself, it builds character and keeps me healthy. I like the business name Moe's Hoes, it's catchy. That's cool machine he has there. I do hope they find water for you. Looking forward to the next video, thanks for sharing.
Hi my friend- it sounds like your geography is a lot like my corner of northern VT with a lot of glacial till- I do agree with other commenter that the unit might be a bit light for the job at hand- options would be a deep well driller and have them get you a nice well down about a 100 ft - or option 2 bring someone in with a backhoe or better yet an excavator and dig down as far as he can go to hopefully water level and back fill with a load of gravel around your shallow point well. The deep well driller is best option as you’ll always have water - I went with that option and never looked back . Once they install the well and casing you might as well go the whole way and put in a pump - if it’s more then around 100 ft you’ll need an electric submersible system which will add cost but be more convenient - hand pumps can go down to about 75 ft and they do make dry systems they can be used year round- good luck over there!
Oh My Lisette, can you imagine what our ancestor's went thru with out all the power equipment looking for water, and we ask why so many people live so close to the great lakes and St. Lawrence river. Water is so vital to us all, I do hope you are able to find the vein you need. good luck and great video. Thanks.
HI Lisette, we truly wish you good luck with your well installation. Sometimes it can be a frustrating procedure. We have an artisian well at 150' At 5 gallons per minute sustainable. We lucked out as each foot is money. We will keep our fingers crossed that you will luck out too! Looking forward to part 2 of this venture. Thinking of you, Much love Ro and Dave❣️😾😸🤞🤟
I dont have much experience with stab wells, also known as a sandpoint well, I've even heard them called shallow wells. what I can share is the closer to the pump the better, make sure there is a check valve installed at the top of the well pipe and try to set the pump and pressure tank someplace inside so as to eleviate any freezing issues in the winter. I have seen pumps and tanks placed underground bunker style but it seems there is always winter freeze-up with that style so, I myself have a 50ft stab well with check, marked and 100ft of 1 1/4" tubing buried 3ft deep running to the garage where the pump and tank set with a second check valve, 25yrs and its never froze or givin me any issue with supply. happy water pumping Lisette. 😇 this guy
I am hoping and praying that this project will work out very good for you Lisette. I would love to see you have a water source to your beautiful cabin. Seeing you have to haul water especially in the winter months just hurts me. This will make your life so much easier and free up time for other wonderful projects you may have in mind. As always~ Prince and myself send our love and prayers to you Lisette! 🐕🙏❤💯

Who knows deep down under our feet what is down there? Like some are saying don't let it get you down and keep a positive thought. Maybe a "bigger" machine is needed. I wish the best of luck and water spouts out of the ground soon. Fingers and toes are crossed.
Good morning Lisette. Tomorrow is another day. I have lived next to a drilling company that drill water wells . It’s a third generation owned company. These Driling companies in your area have a very good idea of what the geology of the ground where you live you might try and find out what you have next to your house. As you probably know, these drilling rigs are mostly on top of 18 wheelers. They are very expensive to operate so the Well is expensive to drill. Think a little more outside the box. There are smaller rigs that are used for drilling holes for explosive charges. That might be a way to go. Good luck sweetie.
Good morning Neal, still working on plan #2 😊 Drilling companies are super expensive here like you say. It’s unreal!! So this would only be my last resort, but I would only get this done in the future. Enjoy your week my friend 😊💖
Good Morning my Beautiful northern friend. Hopefully you will be able to get to the water soon so you won't have to haul water again. Waiting for your next video to see the results. Have a great day my friend. ❤
I own the house I grew up in and I remember about 50 years ago a guy came around and put wells in for many of the neighbors. I wish my parents had it done it was inexpensive back then around $2000 (US dollars) people paid and they had to go down a couple hundred feet. To do it nowadays cost a lot more! hi Lisette! this is exciting stuff! hopefully success will come soon! having a working well there will be so great for you! you deserve it! we are all looking forward to seeing the next part of this search for the elusivie "right spot" ! it's a big , hard job, I pray this works out for you! Happy Monday Lisette 🌞sorry your well is giving you a hard time, if it was me I think I'd call in the big guns and try again closer to the cabin. That's just my thoughts. Looking forward to part 2. Best of luck 🤞💝🐾🐾😊
My well, here in the mtns of west-central Arkansas, is 205 feet deep and i have all the water i want and need..you may have to get a well drilling crew to your place and let them try...love you channel, sure is a beautiful place you have...good luck and be safe
Wells are tough in rocky areas. Where I live in Florida you can put the end of a garden hose inside a length of pvc pipe and and blow in a shallow well at 20ft or so.
Interesting video Lisette. When a witch wand was used to find water brought back memories. My Father showed me that years ago and I see it still works. Looking forward to Part Two. Take care.
If you had a drilling rig on a truck they break any rocks up on in the way. They have special digging attachments for that. That little how is more for post holes and small trenches
I’m so excited you’re doing this I cannot wait for part 2 on this! I’m hoping they’ll be water very soon! How amazing it will be- and it WILL happen! Much love and hugs sweet sis!! 🩷🤗🐕🐕🦋🌸🐈🐈⬛🎻🐎🐎💕💧🚰🛁🐳❤
Oh, this was a bit frustrating but we have plan #2 and I wasn’t charge me for the labour cost as we were unsuccessful. Working on the next step this week. Much love sis and hugs right back 🤗🐾🐕🐕💖🦋
Salut Lisette! I think you have the best approach: I like this little Backhoe/Auger…small equipment is easier to move around and less destructive for the environment (you can always bring bigger guns later if needed 😉) Hitting bedrock in few places is probably not a surprise to you, considering your technical background as Road Quality Inspector…I would think it’s a good sign: the water cannot go thru so it will follow the top of the bedrock and collect somewhere above it (the path of “least resistance”)…As you demonstrated in this really cool video, this means it might require several “trial-and-error” holes 😅…There is water all around you, as demonstrated by the abundance of lakes and creeks…Can’t wait to see Part 2!!! Have a great week Lady Lisette! 🐾🐕🥰
Lots of work, Lisette! Hope they hit water not too far down on your property.🚿🛁 Merci beaucoup for this interesting part 1, looking forward to the next video soon! Hugs/love to you & your pups, and God bless you all!😘😎❤
It's been quite a while since I checked in on you and your incredible life. I'm not surprised to see how things have continued to progess, due to the combination of your planning and hard work. I'm also happy to see both your dogs are doing well. Take care and have a great summer. PS : I still think "roughing it" is 4 Stars instead of 5, but your place is rapidly moving up the ratings, so keep up the good work🏆
I’ve installed many point wells, I’ve never seen or heard of one being screwed in, have always dug with a backhoe as deep as you can , then drive “hammer” the point in. Best of luck with this process..
9 holes and may have to create trenches for the water to go to. Such is the life of a well digger. and being in an area full of clay or rocks. Time to bring out the dynomite !!! lol. Hope the best for you Lisette, sometimes things don't go as hoped for but you will have a well and that will be beneficial to you in so many ways. Love ya dear ... Hug the furry kids.
When all fails the first time, just use bigger equipment the second time 😄 Personally, I would off dug up those first spots with the backhoe and see how big those rocks are. You're located in an area where glaciers went through over 10,000 years ago. And they left behind a dense trail of rocks but most aren't real big, once you get pass that layer it "should be easier to dig down. Remember settlers hundred of years ago made their own "Dug wells" through rocky soil with just shovels and a lot of determination, lol
Lisette, Well it looks as though your going to have to get an actual well digging machine in there!! They go through roots and rock! Costly but worth every penny. Hope you didn't spend too much!! 😊 A real well machine can put your well near the house ......less distance to run power to well pumps etc.
Hello sur un terrain plein de bloc de granit ce n'ai pas gagné pour perforer et creuser à la recherche d'un point d'eau, il faut certainement du matériel lourd, courage 😘😘
I had a similar problem on my plot in philippines, Oh big rocks! And you can see what underneath,, so I got some local guys in to dig through to the clay below, from the on it was fairly easy going
Good luck with this Lisette. I'm sure it will all work out fine. You always find solutions and I don't expect you to not sort this one Little surprised it was not possible to have worked out the water vein depth but then again I'm not there and am no expert on this by any means. Looking forward to you getting your water stand pipe up and running soon. Best wishes and good luck 🍁☘🐾🙏💕
Good morning Miss Lisette, Your getting closer to having good water well, keep on plugging away we all really dig you. Happy trails Miss Lisette Have a beautiful, and blessed week ahead Miss Lisette beautiful lady of the north land.

Everything is so green, there must be caverns carrying stream's underneath
hi my friend i hope you and your mom are doing well love you
Amazing how old school techniques peeps think are fake really do actually work.Lookin good younglady love the channel.
When all fails the first time, just use bigger equipment the second time 😄
Personally, I would off dug up those first spots with the backhoe and see how big those rocks are.
Good luck
Lisette,
Well it looks as though your going to have to get an actual well digging machine in there!! They go through roots and rock! Costly but worth every penny. Hope you didn't spend too much!! 😊
A real well machine can put your well near the house ......less distance to run power to well pumps etc.
Hope you have water soon Lisette. Much ❤❤❤❤
My fingers are crossed Lisette
Props on the overalls! I wish I was as lucky as those there overalls.
Great video, finding water is all ways pot luck! Don't give up
Luv from Wisconsin Lisette!! 🌻🌹🧀
So sorry for the bad luck on the first round. Hopefully the second time around will be the charm. Much luck!!
Looks like a good spot , I think you hit lots of water
Good luck with this Lisette.
I'm sure it will all work out fine. You always find solutions and I don't expect you to not sort this one
Little surprised it was not possible to have worked out the water vein depth but then again I'm not there and am no expert on this by any means.
Looking forward to you getting your water stand pipe up and running soon.
Best wishes and good luck 🍁☘🐾🙏💕
