Toy Biz is really good at making their figures comic accurate...they even made the movie version crippled.

@hurricanebtvs yeah I just tried to google when it first started but all returning articles contained far more star trek than i could handle!
Cool what con is that? I would go with one of the movie figure as it represents him specifically and not just the character. Better still if you could get hold of one in packaging as it has his picture on it and I think that would look great with his signature underneath. I'm curious as to how much X-Men stuff he signs versus Star Trek?

Yeah I made one a long time ago. One of my early custom efforts. Looking back it was terrible. I'd like to do a new one to make up for the crime against customizing that was my first attempt

Really like these long videos you do my friend. I have never really been satisfied with any of the Prof X figures I have seen. Just not sure he is an easy character to translate to plastic.

@MISSYOUMOSSIE sadly they did not make any figures for the film of first class during it’s release. So might be awhile until we see them come. I was hoping they would release some figures when i heard about the film release.

Those silver rods are pistols, very similar to the one packaged with the Jim Lee styled Cyclops figure. I guess Toy Biz thought they needed to add some hidden accessories to a torso in a hoverchair to sell him. go figure.
Hey Glenn...I will meet Sir Patrick Stewart in a few weeks at a Comic Con. Which figure do you recomment to be autographed ? I need space, so I'm hesitting between the hover chair/animated series one (on the front) of the movie/plastic prison one (on the wheel).

I had the movie Professor X, and I don't know if all of them were like this, but mine's legs didn't work at all. The joints were so loose that you couldn't stand him up if you wanted too. It's like he had real paraplegic action!

yeah I'm not a fan of 3.75 inch. Would love to see a hoverchair 6 inch scale though

My favorite one is the Marvel Legends Professor X... It is very articulated and I prefer the movie wheelchair.

great vid. i really like these evolution vids. cool to see the progression. i had the blue suited movie version up until the Ml one came out. i used to say the movie one's action feature was "real life paralyzed leg action" LOL. would love to see a MS hoverchair X.
It's so weird how they actually made the figure unable to stand up.... It has real paralysis action!!!!

Nice collection you got there. By the way, marvel universe just released a professor x with the hover chair. Granted there is some assembly required for the chair. I just picked mine up (:

God, this reminds me sooo much of those irritating Ironman clip on armor figures that NEVER stayed on for more than 20 seconds. lmao. Good times though.

I just ordered the Prof X from the Galactus series.
I'm waiting for a Prof X in his hover-chair to come out one day (with a portable Cerebro helmet of course).
And I think it was kind of petty to make the movie figure with wobbly legs. LoL

@glennwebman69 Ottawa, Canada Comic Con in May. I'm not a fan of having the card or bubble signed, as I believe figures are meant to be taken out of the box.

the marvel legends one is bullshit because they could have made his foot rest thing a little bigger added pegs and put a hollow shell over his legs. if you want to use the articulation in his legs than just remove the shell. this would have taken up like 2 centimeters more if you put him on his side in the packaging. and it would be cool if you tried it wink wink. but that is just an idea. what do I know
