Boss EQ 200 W/Acoustic Guitar

This is a video of the Boss EQ-200 eq pedal that I use on my acoustic guitar pedalboard. The guitar I'm using is a Martin Ed Sheeran and I am also using a touch of plate reverb from the Boss RV-500.

Outstanding - good to see that I found similar eq 200 settings for my '56 Kay solid pressed archtop acoustic with a k&k inside. 400 Hz can be evil from those k&k's under saddle piezos!!

Thanks, these eq cuts helped to really clean up the sound of my Taylor Mini Koa with K&K Pure Mini pickup I had installed in it recently. The lights are great but actually the ability to save eq presets is a pretty big deal for live applications.

Much more authentically acoustic sounding. I always say the pickup isn’t the problem. It’s just the source and it needs to be eq’d, which usually means cutting the mids so it doesn’t sound like a bad electric guitar. Your ears are right on. Love the lights!
