What’s up my piano friends!! Today’s video we’re going to cover how to use the circle of fifths explained, simplified, and made so easy a kindergartener could learn it.
It’s a a phenomenal tool, but most people get SUPER confused by it because people don’t really teach it right - but it’s actually really easy once you break it down.
Oh… and you can use it to write your own song on piano in literally less than 2 minutes (I’m not joking) using simple Chord Families and Power Notes.
But you’ll see what I mean in the video...
    Here’s what we’ll cover:
    00:00 Intro
00:27 Section 1: Uhhh, what exactly is the Circle of 5ths??
00:56 Section 2: Simple Trick to Memorize the Circle of 5ths FAST
01:49 Section 3: Quickly Finding “Chord Families” to Create Beautiful Harmonies
05:45 Section 4: Using “Power Notes” to Write Hit Songs Fast
07:09 Section 5: Creating Your Own Song in Under 2 Minutes
Btw… since this is one of the MOST confusing things on piano, i went ahead and watched EVERY single TH-cam video out there to make sure my lesson wasn’t missing anything.
So it’s kinda the one-stop-shop to get this under your belt. Chord progressions, melody notes, everything you need to write songs. Using the circle of 5ths on piano can be a real gamechanger.
Make sure you stick around to the end - the number of uses for this ONE chart is absolutely insane. In fact, I’d recommend printing out the cheat sheet and keeping it by your piano.
Oh, and btw if you’re a complete beginner, no worries, the tutorial is specifically designed for beginners, and we take absolute baby steps to make sure you’ll get it frustration-free. Don’t forget to download the Cheat Sheet to make it even easier:
