As do many of us also, sadly. I have strove after Christ for years, ever seeking and never coming to the full knowledge of the truth. Scratching the surface yet missing the boat... after years of toil, God in HIS great mercy, opened my eyes at last, even just a few days ago. That my salvation is in Jesus ALONE. There is nothing I can add to the blood of Jesus. It is not 99% Jesus and 1% me trying to "keep" my salvation by trying my best to live right. At last, I have rest and assurance, for my salvation is in Christ alone. As Jesus uttered His last words on the cross and said "It is finished". Praise God, hallelujah. My sins, are paid in full. My burden is gone at long last.
I was like the woman who was bend for 18 years..I was for 20,always depressed looking down..didn't know that it was so simple "look unto me a be save"..oh my..didn't it was so simple..all these years lost
Really needed this today, was hating myself and despairing in my failure unto the Lord Jesus Christ. I feel the Holy Spirit renewing my hope and it bringing tears to my eyes. Thank you, so very much.
Its good to share the Love of God. For there is a way which seems right to God, but the end there of is the way of death. That verse is in Ps two times in chapter and 16 the word of is so good and saving I tried and tried to get off of crack. Then on June 23. 1993 an answered prayer was heard.i gave my life to Christ Jesus 9ne day through His precious Word. That was the last time I used crack or drugs or even alcohol. I had to do my part by our testimony we have been set free. Reading and meditation on His word.

One day she received a box, one-of those for long stem roses. She was thrilled but, opening the box, she found wilted roses. Her pastor wanted her to realize Jesus wants us before we’re wilted, too.

Chapter 13 says that the more we are to tarry in this world with all its trials and afflictions, it will make us enjoy heaven so much more. I thought that when we get to heaven we will have a different body, praising and serving God there and with no need for memories of our earthly journey. So, how/why would we compare?
Hi Kerry. So if we didn't have all of history to remember, to know how good God is and how bad the enemy, we wouldn't know just how worthy God is of our praise. The comparison helps more than we can imagine. Revelation 5:11-12

You need to call upon Jesus!!! Not us...we can pray for you but you need to repent & allow Jesus access into your life. You need just go to Him in prayer of your own heart. You're almost there...seek Him and He will answer you.

I figured out the mystery of rebirth, the new name, how to become a citizen of the kingdom of heaven under the covenant which Jesus is surety of and i figured out MATTHEW 5:48 is the key to the tree of life...but i have just bearly completely lost faith. There's no way I'm selling my soul to Jesus nor to any other God nor to satan. My soul is mine. I'm trapped in a body which is trapped in a terrarium and there's nothing but evil surrounding me and coming into contact with me 24/7. This world is evil. The bible says satan is the god of this whirled and it makes sense. I feel like they want me to consent to death or to believe that i can die or to agree to be judged. I don't feel anyone can recieve righteous judgement based on how we did in this world. Nothing feels right anymore. Dreams. What's up with dreams? When i awaken in my dreams i become a god basically and i can fly and jump dimensions and control the reality and defeat all enemies. Jesus said we are Gods and children of TMH and so does Psalms. When i read the scriptures and put my fears and doubts aside i have complete faith because i see the word for what it is and not for what I'm told it is. I see clearly that the fallen angels have flesh bodies and control over this world under satans authority and they're all around us blending in at all times....But part of me doesn't sit right with selling my soul or giving it away based off faith and i also feel like this is hell that I'm already in, that I'm a powerful god entrapped in some kind of dream web of dimensions where i never get a break. When I go to sleep i wake up in another dimension where I'm living similar existences or going through similar hells and it's a neverending cycle of torture and the end result is to kill me by having me consent to death or believe that i actually died. Every time i die i wake up in another whirled except for the last time I was murdered and ressurrected my own body.(in this world)

The Sheep feed, water, and clothe the brethren. It may be spiritual food, life living water and a garment of praise rather than food,drink and clothes. The goats don't do that.
This is a very confusing gospel. It is saying: remember, it is not Gods will for all to be saved Remember it is His gracious choice - He will have mercy on whom He will. Remember, a lot of you think you are saved but aren’t Try to throw yourself at His feet and beg for His grace to fall on you This felt so self contradictory and hopeless There’s nothing you can do but do do do all these things… What is this??
Do you find the Bible confusing? I don't. Sometimes it talks from God's perspective, sometimes it talks from our perspective. Are the two conflicting or contradicting? I don't think so. I think when a man chooses a woman as a wife, the woman chooses a man at the same time. It's not a 50/50 arrangement either, it's a 100%/100% arrangement. Both are choosing the other 100%. Is not not the same with us, God chooses us and we choose Him That is certainly what the Bible says. And I believe the Bible. Even if I wouldn't be able to understand those things, I would still choose to believe them because I believe that the Bible is God's word, and that everything that he says is true.

And because of these kinds of sermons, I studied this matter deeply for many years - the point is, salvation is available to all. And God does want all to believe and receive His free gift. I have the assurance that many do not, even among my circle of Christian friends, because they are not sure they were selected, and they are discouraged by their fruits - even though by looking at their lives they are passionate and active for God and full of love. God is not the author of confusion, amen! Even a small child can understand 💚

When I go to sleep i wake up in another dimension where I'm living similar existences or going through similar hells and it's a neverending cycle of torture and the end result is to kill me by having me consent to death or believe that i actually died. This is a very confusing gospel.
It is saying: remember, it is not Gods will for all to be saved
Remember it is His gracious choice - He will have mercy on whom He will.
Remember, a lot of you think you are saved but aren’t
Try to throw yourself at His feet and beg for His grace to fall on you
This felt so self contradictory and hopeless

Do you find the Bible confusing? I don't. Sometimes it talks from God's perspective, sometimes it talks from our perspective. Are the two conflicting or contradicting? I don't think so. I think when a man chooses a woman as a wife, the woman chooses a man at the same time. It's not a 50/50 arrangement either, it's a 100%/100% arrangement. Both are choosing the other 100%. Is not not the same with us, God chooses us and we choose Him That is certainly what the Bible says. And I believe the Bible. Even if I wouldn't be able to understand those things, I would still choose to believe them because I believe that the Bible is God's word, and that everything that he says is true.

No, i actually don’t find the bible confusing in the area of salvation.
And because of these kinds of sermons, I studied this matter deeply for many years - the point is, salvation is available to all.
And God does want all to believe and receive His free gift.
I have the assurance that many do not, even among my circle of Christian friends, because they are not sure they were selected, and they are discouraged by their fruits - even though by looking at their lives they are passionate and active for God and full of love.
God is not the author of confusion, amen! Even a small child can understand 💚

And so forth. There are lots of verses where God's election is clear. But I don't think it is confusing, I don't think anybody has to worry about whether they are not there one of the elect. If you are seeking God, it means God has called you. If you are totally opposed to God, it may be that God is not called you. At least that's what the Bible says. I believe the Bible.
Spurgeon is a Calvinist… Most likely believes in total depravity, which means you, as a person has, zero choice.
