An arrangement of Led Zeppelin's No Quarter. It's actually based on Tool's version.
I tried some new things on this one, mainly the use of a looper in the middle section. I was doing it without one originally, but it just wasn't sounding right. The looper really allowed me to focus on the melody and to slowly build things up.
I also used a lot of effects on this one. A LOT! I just felt the song needed it...partly to add to the vibe, but also to exaggerate the dynamics between the different sections.

What impresses me most is your discipline to tempo. So many people cover songs with energy such as this and tend to speed up. You are so solid on tempo from beginning to end, it shows real talent.

I can feel the down beats so hardcore in this cover, and a lot has to do with the tempo. I think it's beautiful and I feel like attempting a keys version now : P
I hate to argue with wal wal but you should listen to the song. Ernesto is spot-on.

Very quickly becoming a serious fan of Mr. Ernesto's selection of covers and originals.
The fact you didn’t speed it up kept the psychedelic effect instead of turning it into a more rock heavy version. Very nice. This would have been difficult to play at the right tempo for most people including me. Thanks for this great cover.

Ive been playing guitar since i was 12 and im 48 now. Ive been in a few bands here in Seattle and all the doors were open for me. I met layne and Cantrell and was one of the few who were allowed to visit layne in his condo where he hid from everyone. Yes i was a bad heroin addict and we would get high everytime. Anyway i came here to tell you that what you have is incredible talent but can you write killer songs too, i think you can for sure. Keep doing your thing because you are feeding a hunger that this world wants and needs so bad. God gave you a gift and youre using it.
