- We're back at New Cuthbury as Wimborne host Swindon Supermarine in a league fixture. This match has one of the most bizarre sendings off I've ever filmed . . .

For those unsure, it is a cautionable offence to feint the kick once the run up is completed. A rare situation, but referee is correct. A player can feint in the run up, but not once it is completed.
Other offenses that can result in a penalty kick being retaken include:
The kicker stops or feints at the end of their run-up
The kicker stops and doesn't kick the ball
The ball stops or bursts before reaching the goalkeeper or goal
There is outside interference with the ball before it reaches the goal
To the guy behind the goal it's not a retake!
Correct in law as it was the Supermarine secretary tried to think otherwise though double bookings for Jackson as last card was harsh. though pen wasv correct and Rob Harrison in overall had a good game Fozzee .
Ref had a mare tbh
Did he feint or just stutter.
I think that is a goal
The IAFB rules that you can stutter in the run up, but not feint a kick.
I don't see that he feinted a kick. There was no follow through on the feint, therefore it was not a kick.
The penalty should have stood, but the player would receive a yellow card
He had his non kicking foot planted and it did not move afterwards, therefore he had finished his run up. He certainly feinted the kick, so it is correct.
He did not move his right foot forward, so 'a kick' never happened.
He took just one swing with his right foot.
The Law 14 states 'kick, stutter and feint' as three seperate movements.
I would say it is a stutter. The shutter is created by the standing foot, the right foot does not move forward or change direction.
The goal should have stood
