    I know this is a little old but thought I'd offer some friendly advise.
    You are making a infusion using the hot method (quick, but not the best method).
    Some of your oils such as rosehip actually heat sensitive and starts to lose benefits the longer its exposed to heat. Kukui nut is another. I would highly recommend to just infuse into the Olive oil it has a high heat index, if you choose to infuse using the hot method. I also wanted to note that 30 minutes isn't long enough it should be several hours on low heat.
    I would professionally recommend 2 things using the slow methods, all the ingredients in your jar and sitting for 4 to 6 weeks (or longer). Lastly you should be doing this by weight not dry measurements (those cups are for dry ingredients not wet). Weight is more consistent and accurate. Your 1/4 c measurements were all different in your cup, which makes for an inconsistent product. You should have formulas (a recipes that's done in percents that allows you to make bigger or smaller Batches also it helps with things like extracts where you can only use 3%)..
    Again just some friendly advice also to help anyone learning..

I'm so looking forward to trying everything... been thinking I'm going to have to wind up wearing a wig if I don't get my hair back to health and thickness. Wow! Great minds really do think alike. That is one of the hair oils treatments I make for myself. The only difference is you use fractionated coconut oil and I don’t. I use jojoba avocado oil

    How do you preserve the oil

    • @sunnijames2802
      @sunnijames2802 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to add some antioxidants such as vitamin E T-50 is one. Also keep your carrier oils at a cooled temperature preferably below 70 degrees to slow rancidity they all have a shelf life.
