CHARM CITY CHALLENGE RECAP | BEHIND THE SCENES

Charm City Basketball and its current manifestation, Charm City Charities, was first started in 1992 as a basketball entity to showcase and assist Baltimore’s youth. Charm City at that time provided the best place to witness some of the nation’s finest high school student athletes. After taking a hiatus in 2000, Bill Spotts, Charm City’s founder and heart and soul, returns to the spotlight with the Charm City Challenge, a Baltimore versus DC Hoops ‘grudge match’ pitting some of the country’s top programs and prospects against one another this weekend.
