I agree with this video. It literally doesn't make sense for miguel to lose. Even if Robby never won a trophy, that doesn't matter. This is end game. They are not gonna screw over their main character just because one of their other characters never won a trophy

I think that Robby will get injured by Kwon in the semi finals which will make Miguel the captain for the finals against Kwon where he wins 3-2 since 3-0 is impossible for him even with plot armour and then after that, he will get his acceptance letter from Stanford. Also, I really hope Tory wins since she needs it the most out of the girls, whereas Sam only needs it for closure.

Im rooting for Robby. Miguel and Hawk won their tournaments, so i personally think Robby should have this one. He started off as a nobody with fake friends that were bad influencers and developed up to the point where he's one of top 3 best fighters.

Considering the 2 leaks of miguel with the captain headband robby isn't winning + The fact that the actors xolo included stated miguel has to 2v1 in the tournament alot which is indicative to robby being out of commission.

The show started with Johnny training Miguel but the second half of season 1 focused much more with Daniel training Robby. The ending especially focused on Robby a lot more too. Both the characters represent the arch's of Daniel and Johnny, not just Miguel which is the issue a lot of fans seem to get tunnel vision over. Plus if Miguel does get a chance of the captain he won't be replacing Robby due to the leaked photo online showing him wearing the captain headband in a Cobra Kai Gi... This show is just as much about Robby as it is Miguel, the show started with Johnny. It's far more cathartic that the son of Johnny Lawrence and first pupil of Daniel LaRusso is in the spotlight, Cobra Kai is not the Miguel show which is what a lot of people have built up in their heads and convinced themselves for so long. The show is about Johnny Lawrence which is what the writers have said since day one. Plus yet again people think Miguel is this super OP force who can defeat everyone, he cheated to beat Robby in season 1 when Robby had the better of him and was the better fighter. Season 2 Miguel gets the better of Robby but in a way Robby cheats this time and beats Miguel (yet again the writers have confirmed this), Robby also bested Miguel in season 4 at the pool fight and their season 5 fight ends in a no contest with both characters backing down. (Their S5 fight was about Miguel unleashing all the frustration of what happened to him and Robby taking all that frustration essentially backing down choosing not to fight back then Miguel see’s Robby back down he also backs down choosing not to kick him over the railing). I know Miguel fans think the sun shines out of this character’s ass but there’s more to the show than this and there really isn’t one main character. Robby has come up short for so many bullshit reasons in the past, been cast aside, forgotten about etc. It makes sense for him to win it as he can continue the Miyagi-Do legacy as karate is his end game where as Miguel just wants to go to college which isn’t very interesting at all.
@@BluClarityReviews I think the college thing was a poor excuse, he’s still doing it to get his family out of a bad spot which is what they should’ve focused on. The Miguel leak with the cobra kai gi i think is just a dream sequence I assume, I hope they’re gonna show Miguel being jealous/annoyed that he’s been cast to the side even by Johnny (in Miguel’s head) and they’ll probably show him being aggressive/angry at the start of the tournament and he’s gonna have to find his focus and balance and get rid of the distractions like college etc
@@Nioreacts The college thing is realistic he’s poor and can’t afford to go and wants to make something out of his future that is a strong motivation. It’s too hard to tell right now from the leaked photo as he’a not on set and is posing with a fan. The thing with Stingray talking to Johnny at the start of season 6 could potentially be foreshadowing something maybe. I think having Miguel cast aside would do wonders for his character as I think he has become a bit too vanilla adding a bit more edge would help. A lot of Miguel fans keeps saying Robby will get injured or will get destroyed by Kwon and Miguel will step in and win it all but I don’t think the rules will be so lenient and I think that comes from a place of Miguel fans getting upset he isn’t in the spotlight instead of looking at it from a logical point of view. This storyline with Tory in CK will play into Robby’s rivalry with Kwon plus it doesn’t seem definite that each dojo requires a male and female captain and it also hints that there might be 2 finals one for each captain potentially… so who knows what will happen…. In a way I think it’ll end with every character getting their best payoff and for Miguel it just doesn’t feel like he needs it as bad as Robby, to say season 1 started with Johnny training Miguel and that be the reason Miguel should win overlooks the second half of the story which focuses on Daniel training Robby and the whole duality of how both these young characters represent a modern version of their sensei’s. Personally it would be a cop-out if Miguel were forced into the story winning it and that is what the writers want us to think and keep us guessing, Kwon could potentially win it all, who knows?? but the reasoning behind Miguel winning just seems incredibly forced and predictable.

I’d say right now the predictable thing is Robby winning since it’s what makes the most sense for all the reasons you’ve listed. Miguel also has a lot of heat from cobra kai fans and people just don’t like him in comparison with Robby so based off those 2 reasons alone Robby seems the favourite. As for the Stingray and Johnny thing I think Johnny will end up with Cobra Kai once more and restart everything. I had a small theory, What if the Japanese that took over Korea (Master Kim’s area) were the OG teachers of the aggressive Karate and in theory it was the karate that Mr Miyagi grew up with and used even in the sekai taikai. I can imagine something like that which involves cobra kai and Miyagi which makes Daniel accepting of that aggressive style and he gives Johnny his blessing to reopen Cobra Kai, maybe Robby becomes a sensei at one of the dojos as well? Interested to see what you think
@@Nioreacts That’s fair I get what you’re saying, I think it’s definitely more of an obvious choice having Robby win but it’s also more deserving, quite possibly more than any of the other characters too which balances everything out. Still everyone has been saying since S5 finished it’ll either be Miguel or Robby to win but shoe horning Miguel into taking the spot just doesn’t feel right and would feel forced and completely undermine Robby yet again, so yeah I think that would be predictable too. Plus you have to take into account the tournament rules too, Robby would have to get injured or something before the finals, I can’t imagine a world tournament just allowing a captain switch halfway through the finals it wouldn’t make much sense. The only character that will get changed out of the team will be Devon for Kenny. I don’t get what you mean by saying the fans prefer Robby more it’s actually quite the opposite and the problem really is with a lot of the fan base who have put Miguel on such a high pedestal since season 1, their sole argument everywhere I look is that the show started with Miguel and that he is the main character which in reality isn’t at all true, Johnny started the show and is the main character…if anything, the show is an ensemble of main characters truly. I just feel like a lot of the fans overlook several key points and themes of the story and make Miguel out like he’s this super god without seeing the story from Robby’s perspective let alone anyone else’s. Oh I like that idea with Miyagi! That sounds interesting, or maybe Miyagi-Do was derived from Cobra Kai kind of like how Judo derived from Japanese Jujitsu? I think the thing with Stingray is setting something up for later on so who knows what will happen because they keep having Daniel and Johnny argue with each other which seems a bit forced seen as though we’re 6 seasons in but I think something bigger has yet to happen plus Silver is set to return so he might have entered his own dojo too, or it might play into Johnny and Miguel changing sides so we end up in a similar situation to the All-Valley finals in season 1?!? I’ll be happy if Robby gets a strong payoff at the end of the day, as for the Miguel vs Robby feud it’s unfair to say one is better than the other, i’ve been saying they’re equals for years and just because Robby beat Miguel clean doesn’t mean he’s better and it doesn’t mean Miguel is worse. Hopefully fans can learn to agree with that in the end aha.
I agree with Tory winning but I’m on the fence about how Miguel can win, how will he be able to fight in the finals? In episode 3 they said that if the dojo advances to the final round their captains will represent them there. I’m assuming Robby gets injured but I hope he clutch’s up for Miyagi Do before getting injured so that he gets a world stage win (granted not the individual champion ). I do hope Miguel wins though I’m just wondering how he’s going too.

I like the idea of Kwon winning. It makes sense since he’s seemingly been training from birth. On the girls side Sam has to win. We have been watching her mostly do the right thing, get terrorized everywhere, and then gaslighted by people around her that she’s not the victim. I would have been fine with Tori winning a few episodes ago, but now that she’s turned back to Cobra Kai, the good guy has to finally accomplish their goal. Tori still has room to grow. Maybe a movie or spin-off?
@@MrTambourineMan. Kwon winning would be cool and technically he’s the best fighter but his arrogance could cost him as usual for the villains. Sam could win but if Robby wins then it would be kinda cringe if both the kids of the rivals of karate kid 1 just win. Same way I find it a bit Disney if one of the power couples wins. I think Tory has to win to set up the decisive fight which will be the males fight. I actually think Robby would be the most likely to get a spin off and it wouldn’t be bad since Tory is close to him so it could help her develop too
The writers have a tough time on there hands you got two fighters that are leaders on the show Miguel and Robby this is what happens when you raise up two major fighters and through the years make them equal it’s just funny how everyone is pressing for Miguel it does make since that he win’s because he did start off this show he’s like a young Daniel who started with miyagi and Johnny is like another mr miyagi with Miguel. They about to do Robby bad because technically speaking as a writer having to male power houses plus with a new one kwon coming out into the mix one of them have to have a down spiral point in this upcoming part 2. They set it up like this on purpose and my opinion is Robby will be the one to get badly hurt. Also Miguel will join Johnny when Johnny brings back his version of cobra Kai splitting from miyagi do. So all three of them Miguel, Robby, and kwon will be on opposite teams. The attention will definitely be on Robby he will have more screen time than anyone else due to what they about to put him through.

To be honest, like every other season, we always get surprised in the end.. i mean to be frank. Sekai Taikai will be from ep 6 to 10, but then if Miyagi Do fully wins, why would there be ep 11 to 15? Theres always surprises to this show as cliffhangers.
I think they may drag this whole thing out and the semi finals stage will be episode 10 so the final and aftermath is 11-15 along with the miygai stuff mixed inbetween

I agree that Tory should win in the girls division. For 5 seasons I hated Sam deeply, now I'm just not a fan of her but I am a fan of Tory. As for the boys I disagree I think non of the Miyagi-Do boys stands a chance against Kwon. Kwon won't do something stupid and if he will, it will probably be in the Semi Finals in order to dispose a Miyagi-Do fighter. If he won't fight with rules breaking then goodbye Miyagi-Do victory, he will maximize damage within the tournament rules for sure. Let's also not forget about Yoo, he can still win and he is an honorable warrior unlike Kwon. Robby winning doesn't make sense, because the writers decided from day 1 not to let Robby win anything big.
Tory has to win it now after everything that's happened, she needs a win in life and beat Sam. Tory wins for CK v Sam but Robby beats Kwon so it's 1-1 and they have a tiebreaker of some sort. Sam needs to take a legit loss, losing a world tournament isn't the end of the world, it can enhance her character if she loses.

Nah, Tory get's humbled by Sam. Robby gets defeated by Kwon despite he may put a good fight but he will lose with Miguel having to face off against Kwon.
I think Robby and Tory will win. Based on the fact that it’s highlighted in the show that they will stick together no matter what. Yes Tory is fighting for Cobra Kai but she’s only doing it for her mom’s death, not for Kreese or the actual dojo itself. Also if you factor in that Robby has lost two finals and has always been the second best. This being the Final season its only fitting for Robby to finally win a tournament on the big stage. It would serve his character justice and end his arc in the best possible way. Now In terms of Miguel I think he’ll still find a way to go college after the tournament even if he doesn’t win.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to disagree with you on this one. As much as Tory & Miguel have become fan favourites & how they’ve developed in character, I still stand by what I’ve said that the offspring of both the Larusso & Lawrence families will be the ones to win the Sekai Taikai for Miyagi Do. It makes more sense for Sam & Robby to be the ones to do it, & here’s why: 1) Sam may have bested Tory in both the school & Larusso house fights, but she still hasn’t been able to secure a win for her family’s legacy. Okay she clearly should’ve have been the one to win the All Valley Championship, hadn’t the match got rigged by the Ref & Terry Silver, but this would be the icing on the cake for the Larusssos, to have Daniel’s offspring to win the Sekai Taikai, to finally give Sam the closure she needs & be her own person. 2) Robby’s always the one who’s always come out 2nd place, whether it’s due to an injury or he’s not focused & unbalance. This win can not only secure him the satisfaction of not always being 2nd best to the likes of Hawk & Miguel, but it can also act as a catalyst for Johnny’s redemption arc, something that will make him elated & proud that his own son was the one to secure a win despite him joining his rival turned friends’ dojo to begin with. Also I do see that with Robby’s victory, Daniel may give Johnny his blessing to allow him to teach karate full time as a Sensei. I don’t mind Miguel winning, as he was the catalyst who started the show to begin with, however I don’t see Tory being the one winning. Only because given the trauma she’s faced with her mum’s passing & Kreese poisoning her mind with doubt that she won’t be taken seriously at Miyagi Do, that her being unbalanced & channeling her anger throughout the tournament will cost her the win. Given that Sam & her were on better terms, I don’t see Sam being the one defeating her in the tournament. I think Sam will win against someone else & Tory will lose against another opponent.

I also agree maybe someone else wins, there’s a new female character from another dojo rumoured to have a decent amount of screen time so maybe she wins or influences an outcome. I don’t really like the idea of both offsprings of the legendary rivals winning because it turns it into Star Wars where it gives it a feel of it’s a given right because of their bloodline. I think Robby winning makes sense as you’ve said but he also was captain of the team so that in itself proved he can be number 1. I also think Johnny is incredibly proud as it is considering they’ve reached this far and before he had no relationship with his son. Ultimately I think they’ll find a way to make Miguel and Robby both win but I’m not sure how that’ll work but I don’t see how both of them lose
Robbie will end up getting badly injured by kwon, maybe knocked unconscious, sent to the hospital and no longer able to compete, Miguel will fight Kwon in the Championship Final Fight. Miguel will probably win and kwon will lose his **** and attack Miguel but then one of the Sensais or someone steps in and breaks it up. Tory and Sam in the finals Tory loses but she goes to see Robbie after in the hospital.
I don’t know why Miguel needs a karate win to get into college. I bet my life if you look at the college he’s going to, a karate trophy isn’t in the requirements. So he’s just using that as false motivation. And Robby will win the Sekai Tekai. But Miguel will win elsewhere. Miguel can win from a story standpoint. Maybe his father can return, maybe CKs jump Robby and Miguel saves him, helping Robby win. Endless possibilities. But giving Miguel the win again, that’s just too old and too predictable. I know these creators love to suck Miguel off, but there are other characters in the show.
@@georgie545 The writers haven’t sucked him off, he is one of the main characters and even then he’s been pushed to the side with injuries and side quests. Hawk got his good amount of time to shine especially season 3 and 4 now it’s Robby’s turn. If they hyped miguel then the show would be boring and he’d win everything. I do agree tho that miguel could find a story victory elsewhere but this whole story started from him getting bullied so I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets to end the story

The fact that he regained his ability to walk again- plot armour The fact that he began fighting again and became the best alongside Hawk and Robby, and even past them to the top in S5- plot armour Robby has had his own injuries, been abandoned by his father, never acknowledged by his mother, sent to juvie (for something he didn’t mean to do) was bullied in there, is always unfocused and never wins- until now.

@@georgie545 By that logic Robby being released in under a year for almost killing someone - plot armour Him being allowed to attend the same school he did a crime in - plot armour Miguel wasn’t above anyone in season 5, it was a group effort and he had all of season 4 and 5 to train + in between Robby getting bullied in juvie is his own fault for ending up there and he’s had to get punished and take those losses so that his victories are even better. You’ll love the pay off if he wins the sekai taikai you just have to be patient. If we start nitpicking a show like this then you’ll find out a lot of things happen that might not in real life and people in general have plot armour or things just happen because the plot needs it to

I think Miguel and Tory will win their matches in the finals, I kinda want sam to, but it wouldn’t really make sense for her to. I also feel like Robby getting hurt is inevitable, but if Miguel doesn’t win it, cobra kai fans will be pissed at the writers for a very long time
Robbie will win the tournament. It makes more sense from a narrative perspective. Miguel just wants to get into stanford and he feels winning is the only way to get there, but he may get there through other means. Meanwhile Robbie doesnt have anything to look forward to so him winning the tournament will give him a sense of achievement. Being the world champion. Him and Miguel can joke at the end about how Miguel will be coming for him next time round

I think a lot of people forget that because of Johnny being with his mum but at the end of the day responsibility still falls on him to provide. Same as Robby but I get what you mean that Robby doesn’t have anything going forward but tbh going to college doesn’t make you a success
I don’t know, but there are 3 parts we already got one and with the second one this November I don’t know and this tournament might be longer than we anticipated. I don’t know. @@CobraTateProudctions 100% agree. Sometimes people deserve to be champion but they never make it and that’s life. People want the show to be mature and realistic but would be upset if Robby didn’t win because he hasn’t had his turn. Miguel is definitely a better fighter and I hope we get to see him tap into his cobra kai style

- Kreese is very strategist. He hit Miyagies to Robbie's heart. Although Robbie is more clever than Miguel now he has not the heart to win, like Rocky on Rocky II, before Adrian gave born to their son. Considering with what we saw until s6 part1 ep05, Robby is too distracted to win. Until now the plot is too unfair for Robbie. - It is possible that Kreeze killed Tory's mother to steal her from Miyagies for his group. - Miguel will win his fights, with wounts or serious wounts like Eric Roberts (who was the 2nd best fighter) on 1989's The best of the best. I really hopes Miguel wins the sekai taikai. It would completely make no sense for the show to start with Johnny and Miguel as the main Protagonist in the beginning of the show just for Miguel to get nerfed and not win anything after the all vally in season 1
My guess is the Sekai Taikai storyline will ultimately be a red herring towards the overall plot. No matter who wins or loses or whether or not there's foul play, I don't believe the show's final conflict takes place at the tournament. It wouldn't surprise me if the tournament wraps up during the second part and the final part of the series covers the fallout over these events.

@@Nioreacts The showrunners have insisted that they are not directly involved with the upcoming movie; they seemed just as surprised as everyone else when it was announced. This probably means there will be no direct ties to it when this series ends. So I wouldn't hold my breath for any Jackie Chan appearances. But Sony's going to Sony and it wouldn't surprise me if they try to insert some kind of tie-in to the new movie, even a minor one. This is probably why they're saving the final episodes for next year; to put out sometime shortly before the movie premieres as some sort of cross-promotion in addition to extending the life of the series on Netflix.

But based on the quite spotty quality of those movies I would be cautiously optimistic about how this film will turn out. Especially with the limited involvement from the 𝐶𝑜𝑏𝑟𝑎 𝐾𝑎𝑖 showrunners. Supposedly both the show and the movie exist in the same continuity but are not directly linked with one another other than Ralph Macchio being involved.

I totally agree with you. Robby already proved himself he's the best in the captain fight but now it's time for Miguel to take on and dominate the tournament. It would be too obvious for Robby to win the Sekai Taikai so there will be a plot hole happening which will make Robby give up his captain spot to Miguel and Miguel beats Kwon and is the World Champion.

I think Robby will win for plot reasons, but undoubtedly Miguel is the best fighter and the most complete one. I really hope he wins cause the story started thanks to him and would be nice if it ends also with him being the global winner. Although I'd like this I can actually see the opposite happening meaning that because the characters are sooo balanced they both lose to the cobra kai champion, leaving the Tory vs Samantha fight being decisive where it may happen that Samantha grabs the win as the story clearly focused on her feeling responsibility for the loss in the S4 finale. This could allow Sam to "redeem" herself.

I agree with Tory winning but I’m on the fence about how Miguel can win, how will he be able to fight in the finals? In episode 3 they said that if the dojo advances to the final round their captains will represent them there. I’m assuming Robby gets injured but I hope he clutch’s up for Miyagi Do before getting injured so that he gets a world stage win (granted not the individual champion ). I do hope Miguel wins though I’m just wondering how he’s going to.
@@papaadot9369 it’s the exact opposite Sam must lose the sekai takai. Sam has won all of her fights in the show apart from the all valley where the ref was paid off so Tory’s win didn’t count. One more win for Sam would be horrible for the character. It’s why they had Robby beat Miguel for captain the winner needs to have lost a match.

Here's my thing tho. Why would they give Robby the most significant win of the entire series if he's not the main character of the children ? It doesn't make sense story wise for him to win the sekai tekai. It's highly likely that robby never going to win a tournament. He was supposed to win in season four. Even the writerssaid that they had robby winning initially. They then decided to switch it to Hawk
I think that Robby will get injured by Kwon in the semi finals which will make Miguel the captain for the finals against Kwon where he wins 3-2 since 3-0 is impossible for him even with plot armour and then after that, he will get his acceptance letter from Stanford. Also, I really hope Tory wins since she needs it the most out of the girls, whereas Sam only needs it for closure.

Im rooting for Robby. Miguel and Hawk won their tournaments, so i personally think Robby should have this one. He started off as a nobody with fake friends that were bad influencers and developed up to the point where he's one of top 3 best fighters.

The show started with Johnny training Miguel but the second half of season 1 focused much more with Daniel training Robby. The ending especially focused on Robby a lot more too.
Both the characters represent the arch's of Daniel and Johnny, not just Miguel which is the issue a lot of fans seem to get tunnel vision over. Plus if Miguel does get a chance of the captain he won't be replacing Robby due to the leaked photo online showing him wearing the captain headband in a Cobra Kai Gi...
This show is just as much about Robby as it is Miguel, the show started with Johnny. It's far more cathartic that the son of Johnny Lawrence and first pupil of Daniel LaRusso is in the spotlight, Cobra Kai is not the Miguel show which is what a lot of people have built up in their heads and convinced themselves for so long.
The show is about Johnny Lawrence which is what the writers have said since day one.
Plus yet again people think Miguel is this super OP force who can defeat everyone, he cheated to beat Robby in season 1 when Robby had the better of him and was the better fighter. Season 2 Miguel gets the better of Robby but in a way Robby cheats this time and beats Miguel (yet again the writers have confirmed this), Robby also bested Miguel in season 4 at the pool fight and their season 5 fight ends in a no contest with both characters backing down. (Their S5 fight was about Miguel unleashing all the frustration of what happened to him and Robby taking all that frustration essentially backing down choosing not to fight back then Miguel see’s Robby back down he also backs down choosing not to kick him over the railing).
I know Miguel fans think the sun shines out of this character’s ass but there’s more to the show than this and there really isn’t one main character.
Robby has come up short for so many bullshit reasons in the past, been cast aside, forgotten about etc. It makes sense for him to win it as he can continue the Miyagi-Do legacy as karate is his end game where as Miguel just wants to go to college which isn’t very interesting at all.

The Miguel leak with the cobra kai gi i think is just a dream sequence I assume, I hope they’re gonna show Miguel being jealous/annoyed that he’s been cast to the side even by Johnny (in Miguel’s head) and they’ll probably show him being aggressive/angry at the start of the tournament and he’s gonna have to find his focus and balance and get rid of the distractions like college etc

It’s too hard to tell right now from the leaked photo as he’a not on set and is posing with a fan. The thing with Stingray talking to Johnny at the start of season 6 could potentially be foreshadowing something maybe.
I think having Miguel cast aside would do wonders for his character as I think he has become a bit too vanilla adding a bit more edge would help.
A lot of Miguel fans keeps saying Robby will get injured or will get destroyed by Kwon and Miguel will step in and win it all but I don’t think the rules will be so lenient and I think that comes from a place of Miguel fans getting upset he isn’t in the spotlight instead of looking at it from a logical point of view.
This storyline with Tory in CK will play into Robby’s rivalry with Kwon plus it doesn’t seem definite that each dojo requires a male and female captain and it also hints that there might be 2 finals one for each captain potentially… so who knows what will happen….
In a way I think it’ll end with every character getting their best payoff and for Miguel it just doesn’t feel like he needs it as bad as Robby, to say season 1 started with Johnny training Miguel and that be the reason Miguel should win overlooks the second half of the story which focuses on Daniel training Robby and the whole duality of how both these young characters represent a modern version of their sensei’s.
Personally it would be a cop-out if Miguel were forced into the story winning it and that is what the writers want us to think and keep us guessing, Kwon could potentially win it all, who knows?? but the reasoning behind Miguel winning just seems incredibly forced and predictable.

Miguel also has a lot of heat from cobra kai fans and people just don’t like him in comparison with Robby so based off those 2 reasons alone Robby seems the favourite.
As for the Stingray and Johnny thing I think Johnny will end up with Cobra Kai once more and restart everything. I had a small theory, What if the Japanese that took over Korea (Master Kim’s area) were the OG teachers of the aggressive Karate and in theory it was the karate that Mr Miyagi grew up with and used even in the sekai taikai. I can imagine something like that which involves cobra kai and Miyagi which makes Daniel accepting of that aggressive style and he gives Johnny his blessing to reopen Cobra Kai, maybe Robby becomes a sensei at one of the dojos as well? Interested to see what you think
@@Nioreacts That’s fair I get what you’re saying, I think it’s definitely more of an obvious choice having Robby win but it’s also more deserving, quite possibly more than any of the other characters too which balances everything out.
Still everyone has been saying since S5 finished it’ll either be Miguel or Robby to win but shoe horning Miguel into taking the spot just doesn’t feel right and would feel forced and completely undermine Robby yet again, so yeah I think that would be predictable too. Plus you have to take into account the tournament rules too, Robby would have to get injured or something before the finals, I can’t imagine a world tournament just allowing a captain switch halfway through the finals it wouldn’t make much sense. The only character that will get changed out of the team will be Devon for Kenny.
I don’t get what you mean by saying the fans prefer Robby more it’s actually quite the opposite and the problem really is with a lot of the fan base who have put Miguel on such a high pedestal since season 1, their sole argument everywhere I look is that the show started with Miguel and that he is the main character which in reality isn’t at all true, Johnny started the show and is the main character…if anything, the show is an ensemble of main characters truly.
I just feel like a lot of the fans overlook several key points and themes of the story and make Miguel out like he’s this super god without seeing the story from Robby’s perspective let alone anyone else’s.

I’ll be happy if Robby gets a strong payoff at the end of the day, as for the Miguel vs Robby feud it’s unfair to say one is better than the other, i’ve been saying they’re equals for years and just because Robby beat Miguel clean doesn’t mean he’s better and it doesn’t mean Miguel is worse. I like the idea of Kwon winning. It makes sense since he’s seemingly been training from birth.
On the girls side Sam has to win. We have been watching her mostly do the right thing, get terrorized everywhere, and then gaslighted by people around her that she’s not the victim.
I would have been fine with Tori winning a few episodes ago, but now that she’s turned back to Cobra Kai, the good guy has to finally accomplish their goal. Tori still has room to grow. Maybe a movie or spin-off?

The writers have a tough time on there hands you got two fighters that are leaders on the show Miguel and Robby this is what happens when you raise up two major fighters and through the years make them equal it’s just funny how everyone is pressing for Miguel it does make since that he win’s because he did start off this show he’s like a young Daniel who started with miyagi and Johnny is like another mr miyagi with Miguel. They about to do Robby bad because technically speaking as a writer having to male power houses plus with a new one kwon coming out into the mix one of them have to have a down spiral point in this upcoming part 2. They set it up like this on purpose and my opinion is Robby will be the one to get badly hurt. Also Miguel will join Johnny when Johnny brings back his version of cobra Kai splitting from miyagi do. So all three of them Miguel, Robby, and kwon will be on opposite teams. The attention will definitely be on Robby he will have more screen time than anyone else due to what they about to put him through.

To be honest, like every other season, we always get surprised in the end.. i mean to be frank. Sekai Taikai will be from ep 6 to 10, but then if Miyagi Do fully wins, why would there be ep 11 to 15? Theres always surprises to this show as cliffhangers.
I think they may drag this whole thing out and the semi finals stage will be episode 10 so the final and aftermath is 11-15 along with the miygai stuff mixed inbetween

I agree that Tory should win in the girls division. For 5 seasons I hated Sam deeply, now I'm just not a fan of her but I am a fan of Tory. As for the boys I disagree I think non of the Miyagi-Do boys stands a chance against Kwon. Kwon won't do something stupid and if he will, it will probably be in the Semi Finals in order to dispose a Miyagi-Do fighter. If he won't fight with rules breaking then goodbye Miyagi-Do victory, he will maximize damage within the tournament rules for sure. Let's also not forget about Yoo, he can still win and he is an honorable warrior unlike Kwon. Robby winning doesn't make sense, because the writers decided from day 1 not to let Robby win anything big.

I think Robby and Tory will win. Based on the fact that it’s highlighted in the show that they will stick together no matter what. Yes Tory is fighting for Cobra Kai but she’s only doing it for her mom’s death, not for Kreese or the actual dojo itself. Also if you factor in that Robby has lost two finals and has always been the second best. This being the Final season its only fitting for Robby to finally win a tournament on the big stage. It would serve his character justice and end his arc in the best possible way. Now In terms of Miguel I think he’ll still find a way to go college after the tournament even if he doesn’t win.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to disagree with you on this one. As much as Tory & Miguel have become fan favourites & how they’ve developed in character, I still stand by what I’ve said that the offspring of both the Larusso & Lawrence families will be the ones to win the Sekai Taikai for Miyagi Do. It makes more sense for Sam & Robby to be the ones to do it, & here’s why:
1) Sam may have bested Tory in both the school & Larusso house fights, but she still hasn’t been able to secure a win for her family’s legacy. Okay she clearly should’ve have been the one to win the All Valley Championship, hadn’t the match got rigged by the Ref & Terry Silver, but this would be the icing on the cake for the Larusssos, to have Daniel’s offspring to win the Sekai Taikai, to finally give Sam the closure she needs & be her own person.
2) Robby’s always the one who’s always come out 2nd place, whether it’s due to an injury or he’s not focused & unbalance. This win can not only secure him the satisfaction of not always being 2nd best to the likes of Hawk & Miguel, but it can also act as a catalyst for Johnny’s redemption arc, something that will make him elated & proud that his own son was the one to secure a win despite him joining his rival turned friends’ dojo to begin with. Also I do see that with Robby’s victory, Daniel may give Johnny his blessing to allow him to teach karate full time as a Sensei.
I don’t mind Miguel winning, as he was the catalyst who started the show to begin with, however I don’t see Tory being the one winning. Only because given the trauma she’s faced with her mum’s passing & Kreese poisoning her mind with doubt that she won’t be taken seriously at Miyagi Do, that her being unbalanced & channeling her anger throughout the tournament will cost her the win. Given that Sam & her were on better terms, I don’t see Sam being the one defeating her in the tournament. I think Sam will win against someone else & Tory will lose against another opponent.
@@AnilSubhrai that’s fair and your points all do make sense. I personally just don’t see Sam winning idk why. I also agree maybe someone else wins, there’s a new female character from another dojo rumoured to have a decent amount of screen time so maybe she wins or influences an outcome.
I don’t really like the idea of both offsprings of the legendary rivals winning because it turns it into Star Wars where it gives it a feel of it’s a given right because of their bloodline. I think Robby winning makes sense as you’ve said but he also was captain of the team so that in itself proved he can be number 1. I also think Johnny is incredibly proud as it is considering they’ve reached this far and before he had no relationship with his son.
Ultimately I think they’ll find a way to make Miguel and Robby both win but I’m not sure how that’ll work but I don’t see how both of them lose
Robbie will end up getting badly injured by kwon, maybe knocked unconscious, sent to the hospital and no longer able to compete, Miguel will fight Kwon in the Championship Final Fight. Miguel will probably win and kwon will lose his **** and attack Miguel but then one of the Sensais or someone steps in and breaks it up. Tory and Sam in the finals Tory loses but she goes to see Robbie after in the hospital.

Miguel can win from a story standpoint. Maybe his father can return, maybe CKs jump Robby and Miguel saves him, helping Robby win. Endless possibilities.
But giving Miguel the win again, that’s just too old and too predictable. I know these creators love to suck Miguel off, but there are other characters in the show.

Hawk got his good amount of time to shine especially season 3 and 4 now it’s Robby’s turn. If they hyped miguel then the show would be boring and he’d win everything.
I do agree tho that miguel could find a story victory elsewhere but this whole story started from him getting bullied so I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets to end the story

Considering with what we saw until s6 part1 ep05, Robby is too distracted to win. Until now the plot is too unfair for Robbie.
- It is possible that Kreeze killed Tory's mother to steal her from Miyagies for his group.
- Miguel will win his fights, with wounts or serious wounts like Eric Roberts (who was the 2nd best fighter) on 1989's The best of the best. (Cobra Kai's writers taking ideas from that movie).
- Sam will not win over a Tory in rage who will consider her as an obstacle.
- About Hawk i think he will win. He is experienced and skilled enough to win.
- The angry nerd and Devon are fackin jokes for this competition. Their status is barely reaching All Valley. Kenny should be on their position.
- In my opinion the most possible is that we will see some kind of plot twist like Tory somehow realizes that Kreese killed her mother, or Kwon gets disqualified (he is too arrogant to fight with honor), or cops catching the "commando" how can't even walk. Only with a plot twist Robbie will win.

My guess is the Sekai Taikai storyline will ultimately be a red herring towards the overall plot. No matter who wins or loses or whether or not there's foul play, I don't believe the show's final conflict takes place at the tournament. It wouldn't surprise me if the tournament wraps up during the second part and the final part of the series covers the fallout over these events.

@@Nioreacts The showrunners have insisted that they are not directly involved with the upcoming movie; they seemed just as surprised as everyone else when it was announced. This probably means there will be no direct ties to it when this series ends. So I wouldn't hold my breath for any Jackie Chan appearances.
But Sony's going to Sony and it wouldn't surprise me if they try to insert some kind of tie-in to the new movie, even a minor one. This is probably why they're saving the final episodes for next year; to put out sometime shortly before the movie premieres as some sort of cross-promotion in addition to extending the life of the series on Netflix.

@@Nioreacts Yeah, Sony's clearly milking the brand's popularity and it would seem they're doing what they've attempted to do with their Spider-Man franchise: make a cinematic universe out of it. But based on the quite spotty quality of those movies I would be cautiously optimistic about how this film will turn out. Especially with the limited involvement from the 𝐶𝑜𝑏𝑟𝑎 𝐾𝑎𝑖 showrunners. Supposedly both the show and the movie exist in the same continuity but are not directly linked with one another other than Ralph Macchio being involved.

I totally agree with you. Robby already proved himself he's the best in the captain fight but now it's time for Miguel to take on and dominate the tournament. It would be too obvious for Robby to win the Sekai Taikai so there will be a plot hole happening which will make Robby give up his captain spot to Miguel and Miguel beats Kwon and is the World Champion.

I think Robby will win for plot reasons, but undoubtedly Miguel is the best fighter and the most complete one. I really hope he wins cause the story started thanks to him and would be nice if it ends also with him being the global winner. Although I'd like this I can actually see the opposite happening meaning that because the characters are sooo balanced they both lose to the cobra kai champion, leaving the Tory vs Samantha fight being decisive where it may happen that Samantha grabs the win as the story clearly focused on her feeling responsibility for the loss in the S4 finale. This could allow Sam to "redeem" herself.

In episode 3 they said that if the dojo advances to the final round their captains will represent them there.
