    Yeeeboiii, this is real positive, I literally JUST took my first pill 5 minutes ago, I hope this sorts me out enough to just feel neutral and talk to people without constantly feeling like an idiot or that they're laughing at me.

      Jaikay1 , hi, my name is Steve, and I was just prescribed Zoloft for PTSD , but I'm researching the product before taking it, I'm just concerned about the side effects, well I pray that you have gotten better ever since you started Zoloft, and you can text me anytime on how you're feeling while taking Zoloft, share any good or bad effects. Take care, God bless.

    I took 25mg of Sertraline yesterday. I had delayed taking it on for over 2 weeks since the side effects made me hesitant. The first day I only experienced positive effects. I felt super high, happy, relieved but very energetic and had a tough time falling asleep since I took it in the evening. The usual thoughts that would have triggered me into worry and anxiety, did not affect me at all and I maintained a strangely positive attitude throughout the whole evening. I know it might not be the same for everyone, but it really worked for me the first day and I´m excited to see how it will be in the next weeks..

    My second day and I woke up smiling like they do in the musicals. I have energy and are completing tasks and not mindlessly scrolling my phone or sitting in one spot thinking. I can think clearly. I feel you it’s not numbing but the bad thoughts don’t take over my mind. I’m actually acting vs Just wondering and dreaming. I am hopeful.

    The meh is correct. I’m on 23 hours of taking it. I hate drams tv shows or movies but out of nowhere today I really wanted to see this drama show on Hulu and enjoyed it even though it’s predictable and boring. It makes no sense. Also the drowsiness was awful but at least I took it at 8pm so I could sleep

    sertraline is not as SSRI its a SDRI, serotonin-dopamine reuptake inhibitor, so for sure you can more concentrate :)

    • @robertbendik9901
      @robertbendik9901 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@vampyrez6 Sertraline is an SSRI, but, uniquely among most antidepressants, it shows relatively high (nanomolar) affinity for the DAT in addition to the SERT. As such, it has been suggested that clinically it may weakly inhibit the reuptake of dopamine, particularly at high dosages. For this reason, sertraline has sometimes been described as a serotonin-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (SDRI).

    Today was my first day in Zoloft and it physically made me sick. An hour of taking it I experienced heartburn ( may be because I took it without breakfast). After a couple of hours, that's when the nausea hit me, I was dry heaving in the toilet. After, I had diarrhoea, which made me feel better. I drank some tea, and slept because I was in pain and didn't have an appetite to eat. Once I woke up, I felt significantly better, I eat some food. Right now I'm in bed and I'm experiencing tremors and chattering. Maybe, it's causing insomnia since it's 3am and I can't sleep. So yeah, i might stop taking it if this progresses. I'm taking 50mg btw

      It takes 4 weeks for it to work
      but the sideeffect can come much earlier and its normal that the body react on zoloft, at least the first days.

      Diembla. I felt something on the first day. I have been on sertraline now for 9 days now. The first 4 days i was very high and almost it felt like i was on amphetamines. I didnt feel much more after that. But i will say that my anxiety has severely reduced. It does take 4 to 6 weeks to be at its peak effect. And my psychiatrist told me that i would feel something in the 1st week ...which I DID. so please dont tell me my comments are unnecessary please. On Day 4 i increased to 50mg. Even though the dose was increased i actually had no side effects at all. On the 2nd week i increased to 75mg, again no side effects but my anxiety was hardly there. I felt really good and positive. On the 3rd week my psychiatrist increased my dose to 100mg. It has almost been 2 weeks since i started the 100mg..... OMG!!! EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED. I feel so good, i have no anxiety , i am on other medications aswell, but my anxiety has always been horrendous. But after almost 5 weeks on the zoloft my anxiety has completely gone. My mood is balanced , i have a positive outlook. Im actually going back to work next week after having almost 6 months off. I had a nervous breakdown. But thats all in the past. Apparently in another 2 weeks i should feel even better again. So if you are thinking of starting zoloft or already have, then please stick with it. If you have side effects bare with them and push through. Trust me you will get your life back...and even better. I feel FABULOUS. Good luck @Nataey johnson i wish you all the best on your journey. Thats awesome @Nataey Johnson, im so glad. I feel PHENOMENAL on the sertraline, but my anxiety was still crippling. So my psychiatrist put me on Pregablin (Lyrica) aswell. OMG!!! the Pregablin has been life changing, literally from the first tablet within 1 hour i almost felt euphoric. That only lasted the first 2 doses , but as you keep taking it there is literally NO anxiety at all. Its like a switch has been turned off. But there's no more Dread or worry or panic anymore. My psychiatrist also put me Quetiapine at night to help me wind down and sleep peacefully. So with the Sertraline, Pregablin & Quetiapine my whole world has changed. I start back to work in 2 days... it's literally a whole new me. Wishing you all the best Nataey. Let me know how you go. 🌈 🇦🇺

    How annoying that you’re describing how you feel within an hour? You obviously don’t realize that you need to give medicines like these WEEKS before they actually kick in - hello?? Besides you can’t honestly assess how it works within a day - all in your head
