OMG This is soo HELPFUL I WOULD LOVE if you can do more walkthroughs it better explains and i get a real good understanding i will definetly be getting your course toooo. get my skills tighter as well.
Glad it was helpful! I know a lot of socs have this use case so I did want to share it with yall. You’ll find some pretty cool things in the course and I am excited for you to get started when you do! 🙌
You’re not mistaken at all! In fact, I do use this in a pinch but do note that this function references the geo database within Splunk. Meaning that it may not be up to date, thus I use ipinfo
I am hoping for a little discount too 😅 For that price I can go for certs which would look good on my portfolio but I feel like I'd learn more with his course; maybe if it had some kind of credly badge at least
@@alex.o.a true, i would be willing to pay up to 200$ as this guy explain things really well. i mean there is tryhackme that u only have to pay 10$ a month and learn a lot of things and you dont have to setup the lab your self its just ready to go.
Absolutely, it is good for those wanting to level up their investigation skills. In the beginning you’ll get a nice refresher but later in the course it’ll pick up and you should learn some new things!

Hi Steven, I might be mistaken, but the Splunk function iplocation can also provide the geo location of the ClientIP. Great video by the way!

@@MyDFIR bro even I wanted to buy the course with 499 shows but It asks another 114$ for Tax what to do ?
Cool. You should make a Splunk tutorial video.
Yes very good idea
Splunk Course would be wonderful idea.
Hey is your course good for an L2?
Absolutely, it is good for those wanting to level up their investigation skills. In the beginning you’ll get a nice refresher but later in the course it’ll pick up and you should learn some new things!

Yea tax is not included and it would be calculated depending on your location. If this is out of your budget, an alternative would be TCM PJSA course!
❤❤
Your course looks potentially awesome but in this economy it’s somewhat pricey. It may even help if the course had financing options.
Noted! Thanks for watching ❤️
Love your videos but the “half a decade” thing is weird.
That’s like me saying, “I make a sixth of a million dollars per year.” 😂
Heheheh soon i can say over a decade!
