At least our school children don’t get shot all the time. And we are the 5th largest economy. Property taxes are lower than in Texas. I know people who moved back to Cali from Texas after discovering that just because income tax is lower doesn’t mean life is cheaper. We also have a good system that helps many people. When I got sick and was presented with a $40k bill at a time where I had no insurance the state took care of it. People in other states don’t have that luxury. If the teacher was a history teacher - it's ok for them to voice their stance on a president so long as it's factual, objective and not a rant. Keep it professional. Once you start getting emotional about politics it gets dangerous - I think it's a terrible example to show students. And I consider myself left of center.
