Welcome back to Heroes 2! I was happy to see you back with your Heroes 3 playthrough, but I hadn't followed that, so I was thrilled to see this gem continued! ♥
Watched the whole series today while working. I always listen to videos while working, but yours are one of those that make me regularly check what is happening on screen! Though I mostly played HoMM 3, HoMM 2 has a charm that cannot be replicated, a similar yet different feel to it. For me the perfect HoMM game would be a mixture of 2 and 3. I'll have to try the mod you are using! It seems to offer many quality of life changes! The title of this episode truly subverted my expectations! Up until the end I kept thinking it referred to your dragon's ability as being anti magic. When Purple suddenly cast the spell I was just as shocked as you were. Looking forward to the next episode! Until then I'll be revisiting other series. Thank you for making these videos! Your style of speaking and voice are wonderful to listen to, on top of this being an incredible game.
This playthrough turned out to be one heck of a marathon :D ! This was a great episode with a bit of a twist from the anti-magic. Something I realise is one of the quality of life improvements in HoMM3 - the UI constantly reminds you there of your colors. Whereas here, I'm constantly thinking how you are orange and missing to capture towns from blue 😅 .
I like how he limits himself at the start tbh to avoid steamrolling to much (and basically never losing a town), but once the outcome is basically given and it's just a matter of time, I prefer when he uses dimension door / town portal.

To be honest I like when you use dimension door - it makes the gameplay much smoother and more enjoyable.
