If the vfd is 1.5kw (1500watt) does that mean how much power it can output to the motor ? What will be the max watt input to the vfd from the 240v ac power source ...will it also be a max of 1500 watt or less or more ? So I can use the proper enough power supply .
I like it very much, as it seems targeted to people with at least a basic understanding of electrical engineering. So you go at a good speed and it is easy to follow without getting bored...
However, please use a head-on microphone next time, it is unpleasant to hear the voice fade and come back every time you turn your head

I want to control the frequency of the 2 hp geared motor by another 75 HP motor load, ct coil is connected through ac current transducer to ACI terminal, can you explain this better, please.
this vdf has been made for 0V~10V, 0Hz~50Hz. what if i want to increase the frequency beyond 50Hz ? can i do that ? will i have to do that by increasing the AVI to beyond 10V. i will be very thankful for your response . Thanks

Then it means your parameters has been locked. Kindly read the manual to unlock your parameters.

What type of motor is this vfd for ....three phase synchronous or asynchronous ......or can you use it for any type of three phase motor . I have a brushless star synchronous motor 42 pole ........can I use a vfd vsd ?

hi sir, we have an elevator lift which we want to lower the speed. We bought a Delta VFD-S but we are not sure which parameters to tweak as there a lot. Do we just have to lower the frequency from the main display?
Dear Mark, you can use various option to lower the freq. Option 1- from the display. Option 2 - Via External POT (you need to wire POT to VFD control input terminal) Option 3 - Control via 0 - 10VDC or 4 - 20mA Option 4 - Via HMI directly with MODBUS connection

Yes it can be done in the similar way.
if motor has rated rpm 15000.
can i rotate the motor at 30000 rpm with the help of vfd?
No you should not try to rotate the motor more than it's rated rpm. It will damage the motor!
y is it taken 4-20mA instead of 0-10mA..??can anyone plzz help...
We take 4mA instead 0 mA to avoid confusion which occurs (whether the "signal is lost" or "the input signal is 0mA") . So we take 4ma ~ 20 mA. In this case the input signal is 0% we get 4mA but if we get 0mA - we clearly say that it's because of transmitting signal loss.

wanshngain nongbet It's some type of error which you can remove by resetting the parameters of the drive. If you are unable to reset the parameter using keypad buttons then you need to so using PC (by connecting the VFD to VFD Soft (software) using special cable). Please contact delta support center for the cable and software.

No that is not possible, however you can do 220 V single phase to 220V three phase
