@@eligrxnd like they will do the chords on one separate midi, then load up another instance of the VST piano, then write the melody in a completely different MIDI/Piano roll, separate from the chords. Idrk how to explain it bro lemme know if that makes sense 🤣

Would also allow you to add different effects when it comes to mixing. Maybe a delay on the top line melody that wouldn't work as well on chords
