I forgot to mention why I went with a custom number and not an on-screen one. Although I modeled my Jeep after the arrival Jeeps, I wanted to make it "mine" so the number is in reference to how old I was when I originally saw the movie back in 93'.
Now, that's the best fan-made replica I have ever seen in my life. If I were fortunate to come across a 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara YJ in good condition that someone wanted to sell at a fair reasonable price, I would definitely buy it, take it off of their hands and convert it into my very own film-accurate replica of the Jurassic Park jeep down to the last detail and replace the old radio with a CD player to play the Jurassic Park soundtrack and I would drive it to a Halloween costume party dressed up as a dinosaur handler and enter it in a car show.
Hi Daniel, where did you get that "Jurassic Park Broadcasting Service" clip for your radio? We're going to have a JP Jeep in a few months and would love to have that audio for car shows!
Saw an exact replica of this jeep at my menards in minnesota, when i saw this thumbnail i thought it was the same car, literally the only difference is the one i saw had a number 12 - otherwise every detail, even the exact color tones, are identical. you got a jeep twin!
Fantastic job on an awesome jeep build!!! Ever since I saw the movie as a kid I've wanted one. Enjoy the rewards of your hard work and attention to detail.
Really awesome job man. I was the guy last vid that asked if you had a video of the build. This was great, and your attention to detail on your Jeep is honorable. I still hope to build my own in the future. Also, I've worked in Auto paint and body for years, and all I have to say is, for your first paint job, it turned out great. Awesome video, and beautiful Jeep. Looking forward to whatever is next.
Wow this is so awesome you didn't even know you made tutorial video to show people how to do this thanks for the video i'll definitely do this but with a old utility police box truck I have my eye on
Do you have a recording of the thing that starts at 14:21? Is it available for download? Did you hire/commission someone to voice act it and supply them with a script to read from?
This video was just what I needed today. Thank you! Honestly I'd have loved a longer version. I have a question: is there a method by which owners choose their numbers? Like, if you belong to a JP Jeep Club, do members try and have unique numbers? Some people use the 'wrong' model sometimes, I've noticed, and I suppose that's perfectly fine. But I am going to try and get a YJ if I can. Not a lot of those in Australia I don't think. So I might have to compromise. I was saying to a friend that I think I'd prefer a JP Wrangler to a Ferrari. No jokes! Thanks again.
Looks good bro! Im about 70% there with my TJ. Since its not screen accurate, i thought "If this film was made in 2003 and not 1993, what would it look like?" And my number is 22, based on the age i began the project.
Love the video!! This was a really neat build and very cool to see all the details and work done. Plus thr mistakes and real life implications that effect how we do our builds. Thanks for making this cool video man! Inspired me for sure.
As a 4x4 owner right in hte middle of the project phase, I know how unnecessary it is to get comments from people saying 'you should do this you should do that' but I really reckon you should have the square spot lights up top for when you have the roof up :P and then off when it needs to be a droptop
Geoffrey Bragg It’s from his friends but it was never meant to be public so there won’t be a download. He said this in an earlier comment somewhere over your comment
I really love your video! You have done such a terrific job, I grew up with JP films and I always wanted my one vehicle from JP 2 the Lost wolrd Mercedes Benz m class but definetly I would love to get a Jeep like yours, the first step I need to do first is purshase a Jeep Sahara 1992 I guess!
Amazing job! I have have slowly started collecting parts to make my own JP jeep and wanted to ask, where or how did you fabricate the light bar & describe how you got you? And you said you only bought one radial Goodrich tire because of how old it is, yet at the end of the video it looked like you had a full set of tires at the end of the video on your jeep? I'm so happy you shared and documented this video to help others! if you could answer these questions it would help alot to replicate other jeeps accurately!
Ethan Schmoll a member on jurassicjeep.com did a run of lightbars and sold them on the forum. I have all terrain tires on the jeep but the spare is the discontinued "radial all-terrain". The newer ones no longer have the word "radial" on them.
Thank You for replying and i wanted to ask if on the forum he still sells them and if you could send me his contact information. & how much did they cost? Cause not everyone has a unlimited budget for JP builds!
Nautical Films a group of friends recorded it. It's 20+ minutes of in park radio calls. It has a lot of references to the film. A second version may be recorded in the future.
Kevin a lot of people have asked. Unfortunately this was a group effort of friends, many who lended their voices and do not want their work made public as it was never intended to be shared online. This was written and recorded for private use and won't be made publicly available.
Great project! I'm looking to get a YJ and had never thought to make it a Jurassic Park Jeep. This is awesome. I might have to give this some serious thought. How did you arrange to have access to a paint booth?
There's a auto detailing supply shop near me that has a paint booth available for daily rentals. It was only $135 for 8 hours. Haven't seen anything similar elsewhere.
Tristan McCay He said in an earlier comment somewhere over yours that it was from some friends but it wasn’t meant to go public so there won’t be a download for it
Joseph Gordesky Jeeps hold their value extremely well. The jeep itself can cost anywhere between 3K-8k depending on condition and location. Then it all depends on how accurate you want it. Most parts are rare and very pricey, but if you don't care about accuracy it's much cheaper. After paint supplies or paying someone to do it, you can expect anywhere between 5k-12k
Looks like he spared no expense.
I forgot to mention why I went with a custom number and not an on-screen one. Although I modeled my Jeep after the arrival Jeeps, I wanted to make it "mine" so the number is in reference to how old I was when I originally saw the movie back in 93'.
How did you find the sidesteps? Everywhere I go it says discontinued.
I would go with 07 then.
Does JPMP track which numbers are already being used so people can check with them for a number all their own?
Objective: Survive Do you think it’ll be possible if I put 00 because I wasn’t born until 2001?
@@Stackali I would put 29 because my birthday is on the 29th of May but the original is already 29
Now, that's the best fan-made replica I have ever seen in my life.

my most fave movie vehicle. i would love to have one
That’s so cool I want one. Jurassic Park is the best movie ever made.
Just watched the video to hype myself up for my Build. Great Job. Looks amazing!!!
Hi Daniel, where did you get that "Jurassic Park Broadcasting Service" clip for your radio? We're going to have a JP Jeep in a few months and would love to have that audio for car shows!
Incredible dude it was so cool to see your dad giving you support for your project
Saw an exact replica of this jeep at my menards in minnesota, when i saw this thumbnail i thought it was the same car, literally the only difference is the one i saw had a number 12 - otherwise every detail, even the exact color tones, are identical. you got a jeep twin!
Definitely grabbing Satin Poppy Seed Rust-Oleum paint. I used Satin Fossil for the sand beige color.
3:37 I hear Def Leppard playing in the backround 🤘👍👍
Awesome work! You must get a load of attention on the road.
Shes beautiful mate, well done!! She brings back so many great memories
Man, I’m so jealous. I want a JP Jeep so badly.
The older gentleman with you in your video kinda looks like John Hammond. That's crazy
Wow, this is awesome! Would love to see an Explorer soon!
That's one beautiful looking Jeep you have there ❤️😍
Life find a way. Very well done.
Beautiful work Daniel!! Great work on staying movie accurate.
Awesome job, man!
I regret not doing this with my YJ, you did a great job man!! Jealous
This was great Daniel! Testament to your huge fandom.
Fantastic job on an awesome jeep build!!! Ever since I saw the movie as a kid I've wanted one. Enjoy the rewards of your hard work and attention to detail.
Sick man! I love jeeps and Jurassic Park! This makes me want to turn mine into a JP Jeep!
Love it. I'll have to make a video on my build someday.

Wow this is so awesome you didn't even know you made tutorial video to show people how to do this thanks for the video i'll definitely do this but with a old utility police box truck I have my eye on

What are you doung to the charger/challenger?
Great job and good look Jeep. I love it.
This video was just what I needed today. Thank you! Honestly I'd have loved a longer version.

Hey Daniel, really enjoyed the video. I'm looking at a potential jeep buy tomorrow to start my own conversion. Super excited.

I'm planning on doing this. I'm gonna use JP29 since my birthday is July 29th. I'm in the market for a jeep right now
Land Rover wasn't in Jurassic Park, but I am very tempted to give a Freelander I'm hoping to get soon, the Jurassic Park paint job.
you earned a sub.. that's awesome.. i just bought some stickers for mine..
I love the build! Man, Hussein paints a lot of JP Jeeps. xD
As a 4x4 owner right in hte middle of the project phase, I know how unnecessary it is to get comments from people saying 'you should do this you should do that' but I really reckon you should have the square spot lights up top for when you have the roof up :P and then off when it needs to be a droptop
Awesome job!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That jeep turned out really cool. Good job man. Whats the anouncement from the speaker from the end.
Geoffrey Bragg It’s from his friends but it was never meant to be public so there won’t be a download. He said this in an earlier comment somewhere over your comment
Great job man! Very cool

David Jessee Is it a Sahara?
Hey Daniel! Where did you find the “Jurassic Broadcast” that you were playing at the end of the video? I can’t seem to find it anywhere!
What would be the best model years of this Jeep to recreate the movie one?
The Ceiling Fan
1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 😉

I see you have made some more jeeps like this at about 15:25
Where'd you get the Jurassic Park Broadcasting Service audio??
Nautical Films a group of friends recorded it. It's 20+ minutes of in park radio calls. It has a lot of references to the film. A second version may be recorded in the future.
That's awesome, sounds very Jungle Cruise esque. Big sucker for stuff like that.
Would they be willing to make the recording available?
Kevin a lot of people have asked. Unfortunately this was a group effort of friends, many who lended their voices and do not want their work made public as it was never intended to be shared online. This was written and recorded for private use and won't be made publicly available.
Daniel Arevalo That’s understandable👍🏼
But seriously tho, your Jeep looks incredible!😱
Hi,is it possible to ride with that on the departmental roads ???
Amazing man!
Where can I finde the Safety instruction audio, which we can hear at the end of the video ( 14:30 ) ?
This is amazing
what is the average cost of a 1992 jurassic park jeep conversion
Great project! I'm looking to get a YJ and had never thought to make it a Jurassic Park Jeep. This is awesome. I might have to give this some serious thought. How did you arrange to have access to a paint booth?

Daniel Arevalo thanks for the quick reply!
Where did you get the Jurassic Park broadcasting station?
Tristan McCay He said in an earlier comment somewhere over yours that it was from some friends but it wasn’t meant to go public so there won’t be a download for it
Awesome!
Cool man i want to build one to
Holy fuck Ik where that Costco is this dudes near me
super cool build! I've been looking into doing one myself, do you have an estimate for how much everything cost? (excluding the price of the Jeep)
Joseph Gordesky Jeeps hold their value extremely well. The jeep itself can cost anywhere between 3K-8k depending on condition and location. Then it all depends on how accurate you want it.
