  • In this book launch, author and lawyer Claude-Winnie Pefolé F is joined by her fellow Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Mawuenyega Butu to talk about the book - Handicapped. Handicapped depicts the story of seven characters while highlighting social evils affecting females in general and particularly those of women and girls in Cameroon. The book contains real stories with names that have been changed, alongside some fictional stories. All the stories recount the life of many women who may be a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, etc. This collection offers a different perception of femininity which, far from being a disability, embodies a world of opportunities for those who are often overshadowed in society.
