Great job for upload and insight just what i wanted to learn about, it’s quite intimidating to buy your first property this has helped me so much, appreciate you taking time to make this video thanks 🙏🏽✨
You're more than welcome! It's really nice to hear that the videos are helping! If you need any advice on anything else, let me know and I can do another video :)
What about instructing a qualified independent surveyor to carry out a survey on the building. They have no agenda to hide information and could save the purchaser hundreds if not thousands using their sometimes many years of professional experience in house defects and the costs attached. Just a thought.
I couldn't agree more. But this advice is for people who haven't decided if they want to buy the property as yet. After you have decided you want the property and agreed a price, then would be the time to pay for a survey 👌
thanks for the informative video. but I think that a home buyer should also look at the basement too to see if there is any damage on the foundation like columns, beams and walls. Besides it is important to look for any trace of underground water leakage or moisture on floors and walls. By the way, does real estate agent allow me to see roof space?
Hiya, basements aren’t too common in England, while if there is a basement I’m sure in a viewing you’d be looking there anyway 👍 Agents may let you poke your head up into the loft space but will probably not allow you to walk:crawl up there incase you go through the ceiling.
Lee Everitt - Property Advice I’m at the viewing stage at the moment and have a mortgage in principle. I like the look of the house but need to view it multiple times .
Are you taking about fully electric, as in heating? From 2025 or 2030 I can't quite remember, all new build properties will have electric boilers. If you have electric heaters as in storage heaters, then providing you use them correctly, they can be good. Was there anything in particular you are worried about?
Constant communication. If they aren't calling you, then you need to call them. If there are multi people interested, don't feel bad about calling up the agent asking for an update on your offer. Is this happening right now?
Hiya, you're not really meant to touch anything at the moment due to covid, but you could ask if you were to use gloves would you or the agent be able to open and look at things. You can go back as many times as you like. Most buyers go back at least once or twice while they are buying it. 👍
