Patel Engineering Ltd (PEL) has seen a substantial increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 70.2 crore for the quarter ending December 2023, driven by higher revenue. The company's total income grew to Rs 1,076.1 crore from Rs 980.6 crore in the previous year. Expenses for the quarter reached Rs 1,030.9 crore, compared to Rs 940.5 crore in the third quarter of the prior fiscal year. The net profit for the first nine months of FY24 stands at Rs. 1,40.7 crore. The total order book as of December 31, 2023, is Rs 1,91,34.7 crore (including L1).
