- Usually we don't get to see inside of Nintendo too much but with these company brochures, we get a little glimpse of how Nintendo operates. This is the Nintendo Company Book from 2008 and there are lots of neat little bits of concept art and designs within as well as a look at employee life. Hopefully you find this as interesting as I do!

I loved the face training photo, and the wii balance board prototypes!!!
Also, may I use screenshots of the pages with hanafuda cards on them (there's one at the start and one towards the end in the history lineup) for a post I have that documents every hanafuda nintendo thing? I can credit you however you want!

Not that it makes it any clearer but the picture opposite the Wii steering wheel is actually a matcha bowl and whisk set, not a shaving set.

I might have to import some of these now. I agree that Nintendo does a good job embracing and respecting their culture. I wish that Sony wouldn’t have shied away from it, but oh well.
They're super cool books. Their more recent ones have been less elaborate but it's still neat that they do it. And don't even get me started on Sony lol. The direction they've taken over the years pains me.

I bought it years ago. I'm sure there are others selling them now too either on eBay or Japanese auction sites.
