In some Murder Mystery games there is a role called the Detective or Sheriff. They basically are on the Crewmate/Innocent's side, and if they catch the Impostor they can shoot them, however if they shoot a Crewmate they lose their life or the game ends/
Realism mode: The impostor does not have a kill cooldown but it takes several seconds to actually kill someone. The kill can be interrupted by another crewmember. The impostor must kill every crewmate to win. The impostor must actually be at the specific place to sabatoge (ex: at electrical to sabatoge it). Ghosts cannot sabatoge. Every crewmember has the same tasks to do (there will be more tasks to do as they're all shared). However, ghosts cannot do tasks, only observe. The only way for crewmembers to win is to finish all tasks. Impostors can do tasks, though this will help the people whom they are trying to kill (to remove suspicion). The number of imposters is variable from none to all but one. EDIT: The gamemode changes when the number of impostors equals the number of crewmates. At this point, all of the impostors will be revealed to the crewmates. In the normal mode, impostors automatically win at this point but the impostors still have to kill the remaining crewmembers. This will become difficult for the crewmembers to win but it's still possible. If they finish all tasks or kill all the impostors, they can win. No more meetings can be held after this mode begins. Crewmembers can only interrupt a kill during this revealed impostor mode. It takes two crewmembers to kill an impostor. Crewmembers can also vent in this stage. There should also be an impostor chat. And when the impostors revealed mode begins, a crewmember chat.
if there is only 1 innocent that would be an incredibly easy simple game. anyone kills them an it’s game over. what i think would be cool is if the impostors don’t actually know who the other impostor is, opening up the possibility to accidentally killing your fellow impostor. this would also make the game of “all impostors but one” a little more funny because nobody knows how many impostors there are and they could miss the one innocent. but idk how much people would enjoy that tactic or if it would somewhat ruin the game 🤷🏾

Can confirm, also imposter announces who they are at start of round. Reporting bodies is legal but imposter is not allowed to be voted off, sole purpose of reporting is preventing yourself from being killed/resetting kill cooldown. Mics are on the whole time to announce where the impostor is so crewmates can attempt to stay away and do tasks. This version is ridiculously fun, especially with 3x movespeed

what about among us hide and seek? you know who the imposter is and you turn the vision right down for the imposter, no one reports bodies and the aim is either the crewmates finish all tasks, or the imposter catches all crewmates :) i think this would be really fun to watch

When there’s no cool down, the crew mates shouldn’t do tasks, they should focus on voting out the impostor
At that point, just stand close together enough to see everyone's individual player model, wait for the killer to make their move, and smash that report key the instant you have the ability to do so.
