Right now Banggood is selling the Hubsan H501S X4 for $99.99 free delivery. I have one from back in the day. Not the steadiest flier (not great in wind), less than 1 km range, 13 minute flight time, over 250g. 1080p fixed camera (no gimbal) Biggest plus is it comes with controller with built in screen. And the camera is 5.8ghz analog so you can use fpv goggles. I'd recommend it for HOBBYISTS (who like to tinker) not beginners.
I have one. The remote inhales AA batteries to the point you have to replace your remotes batteries almost every second flight. Rechargeable batteries will only make things worse since you start at a lower voltage. The remote honestly needs an AC adapter it is soooo bad!!! There really is no point in talking about how bad the drone itself is, the remote alone is a non starter. A hobbyist will spend more time tinkering with this Hubsan than they will flying it.
Thanks trying to decide between the Potensic Atom or spend the bucks and get the DJI Mini pro 4 and the Geo Fencing is a concern, I figure Black Friday will have the best prices if there is going to be a change at all on these two.
Same boat. The geofencing did concern me but I realized I dont want to break any laws accidentally so shouldnt be an issue for the places I will fly it according to their map. The mini 4 pro is the clear winner and I believe worth the extra cash. These other drones just do not have the image, interface or build quality. I dont want to tweak with anything, just need to inspect my roof.
The Poetensic Atom really shines over the other alternative options. I think C-Fly, Fimi, Hubsan and others should learn a few things from Potensic, they made a very good product that actually works as advertised and at an affordable price. Kudos to them. 👏🏻

I'm new to this so bear with me. The only Potensic Atom on Amazon has SE on the end. Is that the same as what he's talking about? And it's a little deceiving because it's shown with 2 batteries but only comes with 1. I can't tell if its camera is gimballed either. Also the FIMI on Amazon isn't the same model as the X8. I'm wanting to buy on Amazon because I have a lot of dollar points built up.
Great videos, watched a few now, maybe you can help me out with what I'm looking for, I currently got into shoreline fishing in Florida and was thinking about using a drone to take my line out a few hundred yards, I know there not designed to carry weight but I'm willing to give it a try, I'm not worried about how good the camera is but more of the cost and the ability to return to home so if I turn it into a submarine I would rather not have a K into it, the weight would be about 6 to 8 oz's I know you can't recommend a drone but was hoping you might give me a starting point to look at they may have the best success. Between the two, the potesnic atom would be a better choice if your budget is lower. The biggest thing youre lacking is the obstacle avoidance and the camera
The ATOM's camera needs to be manually controlled in terms of iso and ss. For some reason it wants to use 400SS which makes things not as clear. You put it down to 100SS and adjust the ISO per shot, you get some jaw dropping quality.
What is good drone choice for dragging a fishing line over trees? -- Used for pulling up wire antennas. Should be good in light winds with string attached so it needs lifting power and stability with load attached (string). Good choice needs being clear on joystick input to direction drone moves.

@erickosmicki7812 it is a bit odd that you now can only get the lighter battery is you get the double package. Brands change their pricing strategies quite a bit. You could buy the $249 and the extra battery for just over $300 still and would only have to register if you use the big battery. Not ideal but seemingly the only option.

Which handles noise and low light sensitivity better between potensic and xiaomi? I want one that has great follow mode, obstacle avoidance and 3 axis gimbal. Also one that can have a solution for horizon tilt issues with calibration. The above mentioned, I need all those things in a drone. Should I get the potensic or xiaomi? 3 axis gimbal and obstacle avoidance are definitely key. Don't want mine crashing

I've had the Ruko F11 Mini and the Bewine F7. $175.00 vs. $375.00. Both have very poor cameras for still shots. It seems incredible that these cameras have such low resolution considering the quality and reasonable prices available for higher MP digital cameras. The only way to get 24 to 48 MP is to spend $800.00 plus which I can't justify. And this gimmick where a mfg. puts out a price that only includes one battery so the price appears reasonable. These price and accessories games are absolutely ridiculous.
