The way Jenna handled that Janet Jackson shoulder pad heckle was awesome. Positive and affirming rather than confrontational. Brava, 👏👏👏

I disagree. I think most of the comedians on here stick to pretty bland, white kinda humor

Me too. Another thing I have experienced is trying to explain myself after running from one cubicle to another until finally realizing the whole bathroom was out of toilet paper and then having to dig through my purse to find something disposable enough to flush down the toilet. While being taller than average as a female. And older too. Another student demanded to know why I was taking so long in the bathroom at the time. Oh well. I hope she got the message well enough when I was then demonstrating to her that their was no paper towels left there too.

I saved a pair from tenth grade because I looked cute in them. Ripped the seam along the waist band but never gave up hope even when they didn't make it past my knees. I finally made them into a purse three years ago because I would never fit into a size 8 again but couldn't make myself toss them out.
@@celticphoenix2579 I was a size 4 back then, yeah, not getting into them lol I put on like 100 lbs after kids, I would lose 50 gain 50 back or so lol even if I lose weight and be at a good weight to height ratio, I will never be 110 lbs again! I used to work with her, a long time ago (I think...we didn't stay in touch, but the girl I worked with had the same name and would be the same age). Had NO idea she had such a comedic wit. Really happy to see she's doing well, and I got a big kick out of her set.

Watched the whole clip. I laughed enough to be entertained. She might not be the funniest, but no where near bad. The negative comments I read from others make me sad. We need more comedians in the world and all this negativity probably scares some people away from trying.

Better is subjective. I think reading comments and feeling like this is what everyone thinks of me is a horrible thing. Why do you think so many famous people refuse to handle their own accounts?

I mean look at the comedians that go to the Apollo Theater, they have to get over it and get better.
@@ElijahHalliburton I guess we just see a different perspective on this. You feel it makes her better. A lot of the comments I was referring to simply put her down personally or flat our call her a bad comedian. I don't see that as criticism.
If someone said, "She spent too much of her bit on self-degrading overweight jokes." That is criticism, but as I said, I'm talking about the purely negative comments from so many people that caused me to make a more positive comment.
I see your point, but I still think she deserved more positive comments than I saw. Her set was not nearly as bad as these comments would lead one to believe.

I clicked this video because I've been laughing at many vids from DryBar lately, but noticed I hadn't listened to any female comics yet...
With high hopes I clicked on this one... only to be disappointed by realizing she mostly jokes about things she has little to no knowledge of, because it "sounds" funny.. or self depreciating to the point that your not laughing with her, but actually hoping she's OK..
And I call COMPLETE BS on her joke about her husband and the tissue thing.... it's either completely made up, or she switched herself with her husband for that joke...1 in maybe 1 million guys had EVER bought tissue(let alone name brand) other than toilet tissue, aka toilet paper.. the only time I've EVER known a guy to use actual kleenex(as in NOT toilet paper), was because a women bought it originally....
The funniest part was how she was somehow baffled that she's only made her husband laugh 4 times... but she's a Professional Comedian....okay....

Its 80% diet and 20% exercise. Americans have a ridiculous obesity problem because SO much of our foods have sugar and more sugar. Many American families have also lost the art of actually cooking from scratch and instead go for highly processed, enriched, lowest denominator simple carbs and such. I am more fit and stronger now in my 30s than I ever was in my 20s; most of that due to eating whole grains when I carbs, buying bread, sauces, etc with NO sugar added. And yes, I actually eat what I want! When you eat eight and eat reasonable, there is zero reason to starve yourself as so many would believe.
I have those numerous jeans that I have hope to wear again! No truer words were spoken.

Melissa Jacobs and the jeans frayed nicely. The current spandex jeans won’t do that! Its ridiculous how people buy their jeans already ripped.
Hint: Yes they did stretch. Unlike jeans marketing snobs who like to claim you should never wash your jeans (yuck!), you merely buy them with a tiny bit of looseness, wash them so they shrink, then after a few hours of wearing they have stretched in the appropriate areas to contour to your body. The key thing here is you buy the RIGHT SIZE, not trying to shoehorn yourself into something 2 sizes too small.
