I pick up these old knives every time I see one!!! Like you we didn't have a lot of money so the old Imperial knives are Coloniel knives was what we carried!!! I probably have more than anything else!!! Man I really enjoy your channel, keep it up brother!!!!
Dude what an awesome collection of oldies! I have a few of my grandfathers from those post war era and you really just made me appreciate them so much more with the nostalgia! Now I’m looking for a mini Bowie knife!!!😂
Me too. But how to hold the steak still while using the knife to cut it?! Perhaps you use the knife to whittle yourself a fork first, in which case the one on the folder must be for reference purposes ;)
Since moving full time to the USA in 2020 this whole vista opened up to me. Prior I hadn't even heard of Case much less Cattaraugus. I have been doing a little catching up via all the typical methods of coming by some of these fine old 99c pocket knives which I love to study and fidget with. I do possess one Imperial slipjoint that is certainly the pride of my humble Vintage Budget US Slipjoint collection. I really want you to see it so I'm about to upload a short video called Large Imperial Coke Bottle Clip.
Love the old ones
GREAT VIDEO Great lesson Sir
