Wow! That final comment... "Say thank you as you worship with your family." ❤ Can you imagine the trouble he'd be in today, for that one???? 😢 Only 45 yrs ago, how times have changed... UNBELIEVABLE. 😮
For "Well" I would've done the opposite thing ("Ill?..." or "Sick?...") spoken in that Password-ian way to noting that you're communicating that you want to elicit an opposite.
I have no idea why you think they were good players. Audrey Meadows often did not know clues for the P-W. P-W "Fold" - clue could have been "Sheep" as in Sheepfold. Or possibly "Laundry", as in fold the laundry, which is what my Mom did when Password was the air in the 1960's. {Yes - she was a "Housewife" and a mother which several comment posters find offensive in the wretched decade we are in now.} This was a lousy episode as were all the others of that week. Audrey Meadows did not speak clearly, and Bob Crane was an egomaniac and a jerk. Some of the worst episodes ever of the Password TV series. BTW - Lightning Round: "Mane" is what grows on the neck of a horse. "Maine" is the far northeastern State.
I always thought Audrey was cute, she had a booming voice, no doubt from her stage days when there was no amplification. I always thought Bob wanted to be known as a lover boy to women and the hero type. He was very funny and had good timing, wish had been around longer.
Kenny Sherrill: ---> She would be "cute" if you had been at sea for 6 months. 🙃 Several of the female contestants that week looked better than Audrey Meadows. Her voice sounded like one of the foghorn women that worked the Admin desk at the Reception / Separation Center at Camp Hansen or Camp Pendleton. Ugh! BTW - There was a guy named Sherrill in my Boot Camp Platoon at MCRD/SD in 1975. {Or I.T.S.?}
I would have said "knees" and "elbows" for "joint." For "stem" I would have said "flower" and then "green." After the contestant would say "leaf" I would have said "other." Then I would have said "neck."
Bob Crane gave the WORST clues! It's like he was trying to make them lose. And to just keep repeating the same clues that weren't working. I would have been fighting frustration and tears! 😖😢

It would have been controversial at the time mentioning religion was taboo on tv even back then
Very true! Even in southern California during that time period, stores were closed on Sundays. So there was still some respect for religion.
Audrey’s outfits are so sharp !! 🦊
I imagine the hair on the women was crispy and made a "whoosh whoosh" sound if you pressed it.

This week of shows was very good. Both Audrey and Bob are good "Password" players.
Bob Crane was so sharp. And good self defacing humor.
Bob Crane... I love how he laughed out loud, excited over the proper guess! He's wonderful....

Audrey just lost her Honeymooners costar at 99yrs.

Rest in Peace to All Of Them.

Meadow and Crane and fantastic players.
Maybe bend for fold?
Fold = crease, bend, pleat
Bob Crane ❤❤❤❤

I've watched many eps of PW and have yet to hear anyone say"PASS"
I've heard them use "pass" as a clue for "word."
Bob Crane apparently liked to play golf with golfer Ben Dover: he shoots for One-in-the-Hole.
As a clue for "Ram", I would've said "McCartney's second solo album." Duh......
Meadows and Crane are awful!
Simple.
Then Don't Watch 'em.😐,.

He wouldn't have said they were "awful" if he hadn't watched them. Makes sense now, doesn't it? @@drumbum3.142
