We reached at 3:15 pm and seen that AVATAR 3D time was at 3 pm, We were fool enough to missed that lifetime experience just for gone 5-10 mins of the movie.

I have been here multiple times since last 12 years. They used to play A R Rahman's maa tuje salam prior to movies. The sound system is so amazing that I still remember the feeling and sound after 16 years. I haven't heard that again in other IMAX or with Sony xm5

I experienced both Interstellar and Oppenheimer in IMAX 15/70 presentation at Melbourne Museum. Interstellar - with nearly 40% of the film in the 1.43:1 ratio - is one of the best experiences of my life. Oppenheimer's explosion scene left the entire auditorium speechless.
back in 2010 they were screening Avatar movie there and we got the chance to watch it in our school trip. words can’t explain the feeling of a kid watching a 3D movie 1st time and that also Avatar in IMAX 1.43:1 ratio with this powerful sound system. oh man, after that i never felt the same in any movie or theatre. from morning we’ve been exploring science, museum, scientific rides and after that witnessed the biggest sci-fi movie. we were literally in another dimension from morning to the end of the day. we forgot that we’re in india actually.

As IMAX movie Encoder with tons of IMAX Blu-Ray Disk content ( also Encoding those movies with great quality /Bitrate) .. It's feel like surreal experience just to watch RAW output of IMAX with original format (total 7 screen reel output in entire world!) and we r blessed to have one in Ahmedabad ✨, yes there is also 2k-4k laser IMAX format Theater which is also great to see all over the place and they r planing to open more in the future.. But this one is HUGH!! 🔆 Btw thnx for the tour.. I can relate more then most of those viewers.. As I'm similar to this industry around 5 years from now :)

I have given an explanation at the bottom of that part of video. It’s basically a picture of a similar American IMAX. This is the same configuration that is used in all IMAX 70mm theatres.
Hello bro I don’t know where are you from….but we have I max what you shown in this video ….was in our Hyderabad…named as Prasad’s I max India’s first I max .opened in 2010 year costs around 29crores at that time …sound was from REVEL sound from harman….this is completely for your information only
India’s first IMAX opened in 2001 in Mumbai, it is not an IMAX now. Second IMAX in Ahmedabad in 2002, it is still an IMAX and the only remaining IMAX 15/70mm in India Third IMAX opened in Hyderabad in 2003, it is not an IMAX now.
Not even in India but in the world also there are only 50 true 70mm IMAX theaters. Rest all are digital IMAX or just large stretched screens. In India also there are 2 true IMAX 70mm. 1) Gujarat Science city (Which doesnt show movies). 2) Prasads IMAX Hyderabad (Which has stopped projecting 70mm due to conversion into digital and cost efficiency). It costs a lot to bring in the reels as they are way tooo large and big to handle like it may stretch upto 18KM (Oppenheimer IMAX Print length to be precise).

Its my hometown. I understood the importance of IMAX in very early days. I was lucky enough to see Avatar back in 2010 in this very theater. Since then I've been to many PVR Laser IMAXes but the experience is nothing quite close! I hope they realise the true potential of this and commercialise more titles

I have been privileged to see a movie " Mysteries of Egypt" in IMAX dome theratre in Mumbai when it had opened newly. The immersive experience was mind blowing.

Which projector was used at Prasadz IMAX in Hyderabad? any idea? Because that one was also pretty huge. I saw Interstellar there at that time...
Upto 2014, when Prasads was still an IMAX, they had the same projector as this. After that they changed to digital and it no longer was an IMAX.

Today, all IMAX uses harddisks or internet to download movies, but this IMAX still uses reels

Not even in India but in the world also there are only 50 true 70mm IMAX theaters. Rest all are digital IMAX or just large stretched screens. In India also there are 2 true IMAX 70mm. 1) Gujarat Science city (Which doesnt show movies). 2) Prasads IMAX Hyderabad (Which has stopped projecting 70mm due to conversion into digital and cost efficiency). It costs a lot to bring in the reels as they are way tooo large and big to handle like it may stretch upto 18KM (Oppenheimer IMAX Print length to be precise).

bhai aapka video dekh k muje, is theater ki Avtar 1 movie ki yaad aagayi , vaha pe pehle commercial films lagti thi pata nahi 2010 k baad q bandh kar diya, mene vaha pe avtar dekhi thi, or uska 3D experience Top notch tha, kaash ye future me or bhi commerical films lagaye.
Pehle prints mil jaate they kyunki use hote they bahut jagah, ab mushkil ho gaye hai kyunki sab digital ho gaye hai.
Why doesn't Warner Bros or Universal studios send Nolan's movies prints here?? Can we ask them to re-release Interstellar here as they are going to re-release it around the world?@@ShreyTyagi

Its my hometown. I understood the importance of IMAX in very early days. I was lucky enough to see Avatar back in 2010 in this very theater. Since then I've been to many PVR Laser IMAXes but the experience is nothing quite close! I hope they realise the true potential of this and commercialise more titles

Please correct your description at 0.05 , by the way "Prasads IMAX" located in Hyderabad, India, is considered the largest IMAX 3D theater screen in Asia.
Prasad no longer has an IMAX as far as i remember..
Prasads is not an IMAX. So cannot be considered.

The audio you hear is all dubbed at home. I used a Rode NT mini USB mic for the dubbing.

I have been privileged to see a movie " Mysteries of Egypt" in IMAX dome theratre in Mumbai when it had opened newly. The immersive experience was mind blowing.
