This is great - how do you apply Row-Level Security differently for different pages? Our summary page can be viewed by anyone but its the breakdown pages which we want to restrict.
Thanks for the video. may I check with you that, after added email address as role member. that user account need to have power bi license to view this report. how user will be viewing report? would you please help to clarify on that.
Very Well explained!!! A baby could also understand it easily. Thank you very much. Moreover, If I want to rename a 'role' and publish it, does that work?
It appears the RLS is working. I believe since I am admin/owner of the report I have full access. We tested using a different user and it is looking good.

Did you find a way around this? I’m trying to do the same
Create a landing Page, create a table containing the names of all these pages and apply RLS on this table
Super video. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for learning with us!

Can you make videos on KPIs.
Very nice video
Awesome! Can you give someone a role that is outside of the organization?
Hi, I can’t get that in the Service - it says it is now handled in the Desktop? 😢 so confused.
Helpful!
Thank you soo much
My power bi only shows the Dax option to filter.... How do I swap?
Or how do I put multiple filters with Dax?
in Dax you can use || as the OR command. For example, you can do [Region]="US" || [Region]="Canada"
Thanks!😊
I'm missing something. Performed all of the tasks and roles are testing correctly, but RLS is not being applied. Any user can see all data.
It appears the RLS is working. I believe since I am admin/owner of the report I have full access. We tested using a different user and it is looking good.
"Go ahead"
Great Video I only disliked it because there is literally a commercial every two mins
Thank you soo much
