My M3 met a deer the other day. Got all my replacement parts from a local wrecker. All fixed up. Your demo was incredibly helpful. My car is back and safe. (Ontario CA) Thank you!
You're a legend Paul. I am in Scotland and we specialise in rusting cars or frankly anything metal based. Needed to replace 2 fenders on a mk2 tamura that had the velocity red metal paint and once I sprayed and sealed the new fenders I realised I could not get my fenders off due to that horrible plastic screw that I didn't know existed up top at the window. 🎉
You're saving me again, Paul! The actual reason I discovered your channel was your excellent video on editing the contents of the SRS module's EEPROM to reset its state to a non-smashed configuration (lol), and as you may guess, this is the result of yet more shenanigans involving my girlfriend's BL Mazda 3. Many salutations from Birmingham, Alabama, USA, kind sir! Seeing you disassemble the front end bits I thoroughly smashed has been most helpful in getting my crash repair of her car closer to being finished.
Hi Mirek! This video here seems to address your question. Basically, you need to re-jig the i-stop bonnet switch, so that i-stop never activates. Paul. th-cam.com/video/goj-C_VNz0I/w-d-xo.html

Hi! Do I need to take the tire off in order to take off the fender? Super helpful video!!! Thank you so much!!
You can leave the tyre on if you like. Just turn the wheel to the opposite side so that you can get your tools in to remove the lower three fasteners.
Great movie, it was easier to remove bumper in my BL. I have a question do You know how deactivate i-stop system in mazda 3 BL? Greetings from Poland.
